I was in an Iceberg 2005 182, it was a tight bend so I didn't get to see your reg. It was near Humbie/Gifford heading to Edinburgh.
Your car looked smart for the second I saw it as we were both carrying speed!
I'm noting down all the subtle mods and applying them to mine... only problems I have are a blowing cat joint (decat sitting ready once lambda is bust free of cat) and need a way to seal it without buying a new manifold. What a stunning 182. Turinis were the best although change is good!
Did you manage to get the Lambda sensor out of the cat? I struggled so left it out when fitting the decat - consumption went through the roof and hit 9mpg at idle. I would love to fit the decat but the whole stuck-sensor-thing is annoying me.
Fair point. I just feel like it's the beginning of a whole host of problems. Can the possible AC condensation be remedied? The gasket will have to cope with being filled with whatever it was I used to successfully seal it before. I was just exhausted from having to contort myself around...
I have recently bought a 2005 182 Cup.
It has problems.
I don't think my dephaser pulley is on it's way out as it doesn't sound like a transit, at least not very loudly at all, but I don't know if it sounds normal. What is a 182 meant to sound like normally? Does anybody have a clip of one...
I think I need a new manifold because it looks very rusted. Maybe if I sanded it down and got rid of the flaky bits it might sit flush. I've bought some exhaust sealant and intend to attempt to apply it later on today or tomorrow morning.
The fuel consumption was sitting at 15.2mpg just...
Hey guys, after impatiently waiting on garage after garage to tell me they're too busy, I fitted a decat myself. I couldn't release the lambda sensor from the cat so left it off the vehicle. For some reason, my economy fluctuates a lot more then usual. It was as low as 9mpg tonight. My rationale...
I'm after an O/S driveshaft as mine is knocking. Got told to pump full of grease and hope it recovers. Would rather spend money on a driveshaft and then be done with it for a while.
Hi guys, first post from a new member. Excuse the gash name.
Anyway straight to the point. My 182 Cup's CV Boot has been rattling for a while and I've thought it to be the manifold. Silly me didn't realise. So, the CV boot is dry and I've been told I need a new driveshaft for the O/S wheel. I...
