Just fitted this. Absolutely love it. I now have a 172 cup wheel that I bought of here going spare. I got it so I could swap them and send my original off, therefore speeding up the process. £20 delivered if anyones interested.
Just a quick update on my 182. Had it 9 months now and still love it. Since my update on this thread I've done a few things to it:
- Its had new Brembo discs up front, genuine Renault discs and bearings on the rear and Mintex pads all round. Also changed the fluid, made hell of a difference as...
Some of you guys mentioned that you had some wheels for sale earlier on in the thread? Is that still the case? I'm after a 182 (FF) wheel if anyone has one. Thanks.
This one has potential. It's a FF with the cup packs. Under budget and 105 miles away. The body work looks very tidy but not much info on it. Worth a call maybe?

Needed a cheap second car, but thought that I might as well get one with a little poke. Bought a 182 without ever having driven one and fell in love with it immediately. It's now my car of choice for a quick blast.
Well, little update. Got new discs, pads (front and rear) and fluid from George on here. Just picked the car up and the noise has all gone. Thankfully the calipers were fine. The inside pads and discs were knackered so glad to get them off.
Thanks for the help.
Since buying my 182 in Oct, I've noticed that when braking hard from high speed, I can hear a grating noise from the brakes. I posted a thread about it and was told it's probably a characteristic of having drilled and grooved discs. However, I've also noticed a humming/whirring noise when...
I had £3k for a second car and bought a 182 with low miles, totally mint and with a massive history. Absolutely love it. I doubt there's a better car out there for the same money.
My main family car is a 59 plate Octy vRS estate. A few simple mods will massively transform the car. It's very sedate as standard but a stage 1 map from Shark or Revo will see around 250bhp. Mines on stage 2 now and around 290 ish. ITG intake and Milltek full turbo back. Straight line...
I'm afraid you got some duff advice above mate. This is the one you want, it works brilliantly. Although, I did buy a longer aux cable as the one supplied was a little short to run into the glove box.

Just sorted it myself. Bought a kit of eBay for £29.99. It plugs into the rear of the stereo and tricks it into thinking it had a cd changer. It connects to your iPod/iphone or anything with a standard headphone socket and I'm very impressed with the sound quality.
Just been reading up and realised that I can fit an aux input into the standard stereo of the 182. I have the 'tuner list' stereo fitted so was wondering if the following would be ok;

Most of the threads I found were pretty old, so was wondering if this was the best...
Recently bought a 182 in amazing condition. When test driving it, I could hear quite a loud noise when braking from high speed. I assumed it was the corrosion on the inside of the front discs and was fully prepared to replace them if it didn't wear off. Well, the discs look much better but I...
Yeah, certainly compared to the Sti off the line. However, the clio is really good in the corners and loving the high revving nature of the engine. Not had a N/A motor for a good few years.
