    GDI one is the cheapest by far. It's a decat, what more needs to be said? Why pay over 100 when you can pay less? Sod the welding, not as if you can see it. A slight noise increase, more raspy.

    As she said she doesn't want an exhaust I'd say go for a BMC. Not a lot else you can do without touching the exhaust.

    I've had my decat for 40,000 miles without any emissions light. I find the standard exhaust pipes too small funnily enough. The Miltek is a nice size imo.

    Erm, not quite true. They're renowned for rattling and poor exhaust mounts. The pipes are too small too, they look silly.

    Definitely doesn't deepen up the exhaust note imo. Improvement is noticeable but we're not talking huge amounts....just revs easier and will pull to the redline quicker.

    WWhen mine is getting done leaving the bay alone...I see no point in doing it, I don't drive around with the bonnet up and I think the black will contrast the white nicely.

    Not read the whole thread but was it really 20/30mph? Surely it would of wrecked the backend especially if you were at a stop? Hope it all gets sorted anyway.
