It's worth travelling for the right car which suits your budget and ticks the boxes. i just got a 182 from Southampton transported up to Edinburgh for cheaper than you'd think. Have a a look around on here, pistonheads and autotrader and a decent one will come up.

the most common phase I see in the for sale section is "now on ebay" followed by the link. maybe youre not looking hard enough realistic priced cars on here sell, I haven't disputed that fact have I?

mate take a look at my car history lol cars are overpriced on here and it doesn't matter what people say, washed with 2 bucket method, polished weekly, run on v power only, never raced or rallied. utter pisch!

some sell, most end up on ebay, and some are kept. yes there are differences in private sale and trade in, a dealer will rarely give you over book for your car unless they are desperate to move on what you want to buy from them. why would they, business is business....

if I was after a micra then yes if that was the book price. im certainly not gonna pay 25% over the book price cos someone thinks that's what its worth. its laughable the for sale section on here and the price people are asking

i'll pop in my 2p's worth on this. take a look at book price, everyone on here selling their cars are way over priced. a LY 182 with 95k on the clock isn't worth £4k - try £2.5. was looking on here a few weeks ago and nobody would budge towards book price,

times must of changed jamie, they were the only ones in the uk that would map them in 2009. also didnt need a fuel pump or have any issues with it running lean. both mine and another guys was mapped there both making similar figures. i know there are a lot more tuners doing it now. hows things...

sanspeed done the mapping. downpipe was cobb FMIC was custom performance engineering (CPE) induction filter and elbow was also CPE problem back then was there wasnt many tuners in the UK so the parts had to come from the states.

nice one, had one of these a few years back, was one of the last mk1's on an 09 plate. easily tuneable with a front mounted intercooler, down pipe and a remap should see 100hp gain. Mine was running 340hp - theres a thread somewhere on here. enjoy!
