    Carbon door cards

I need a pair of front cards as well, but there's no bloody way i'm paying Streamlines prices. Considered making my own metal ones as the regular ebay hunt isn't turning much up.

    197 cup cage in a 172

    dephaser(seals)

Exhaust cam seal is different to the dephaser seal as well. Check you've not got two cam seals that look the same.

    My Clio at Rockingham.

GT I think, though the layout was slightly changed at lunch (for the better). We had an additional couple of corners added in. It was only finished the previous weekend mate, I was still working on it the day before the trackday. Truth be told there are a few things to sort out - i need to...

    My Clio at Rockingham.

Yes mate. Was right at the end of the day. Mark, yes a couple of issues have surfaced. I have a slight idle issue sometimes and the front suspension is too low (and soft). I've currently got a pair of driveshafts notching the chassis slowly. The suspension is H&R stuff from Chris's car that was...

A lot more fun in the dry. Rockingham is like an ice rink in the wet.

    My Clio at Rockingham.

Had a good day on Saturday, found a lot out about the car as well. I've been sent a few pics (thanks everyone) so thought i'd put a few up online. The morning started off wet so it was on the road wheels (white). When it warmed up over lunch I swapped to 888's (red wheels)...

    Rockingham Northloop Trackday

You're wrong actually. Belongs to a friend of mine who bought it on eBay about 2 years ago. It was an old fast car cover car that used to run about 300bhp but has now just got a red top in it. It's a bit rough round the edges but it goes ok and at least he's out there enjoying himself! Not...

    Hunting for revs on idle.

Car seems to be going fine now but when it settles down to idle sometimes it's fine, sometimes it settles at 2k rpm and then hunts for steady revs. If I blip it it then settles. Any ideas?

I bet i've knocked that loose then if that's where it is, because that sounds very near where the pre-cat lambda sensor wiring was headed. I'll have a fiddle round!

Where abouts is it? Is it the plastic thing sticking out the top of the gearbox? I'll try and clean this one first I think.

That's the badger. Old one looked a bit crusty if i'm honest. Yes mate, was a day and a half that. Took me all day Sunday to recover!

    Jon's Trackday PH1 172 project thread

I thought about it actually mate, but there was three of us on it for 10 hours so room was tight! I replaced the cold temp sensor last night as I had one on the spare engine. Going to give it a run into work tomorrow to see how it goes.

    Jon's Trackday PH1 172 project thread

I've copied this from elsewhere so apologies if it reads badly.... Last Saturday was stupid. I'd travelled down from Durham Friday night after work on a one way train ticket (brave). The car was booked in for an MOT the next morning and tax was needed before the post office shut at lunch. No...
