lol. last f7r i built up cost me a sum total of 230 quid. meg b/e for 120, ebay special, and a williams head for 80 quid. 30 for a headset. 4-5 years on..few trackdays, loads of abuse....its still going strong. and will still rip an f7p a new arsehole ;)

cam belts not too bad to do tbh mate. nowhere near a 5 hour job . and yes. always worthwhile putting a new aux belt on . and water pump too for peace of mind. altho the pas bracketry needs to be removed to do that, shite design imho.
looks a very good clean car tbh......am really missing...
id disagree there tbh. the williams seats are probably the comfiest seats in the whole of the clio range. as standard. the dash etc, yes looks a little dated now, but then at least theres less to go wrong, we all know what french electrics are like......
williams all day tbh.........like you....i like to drive mine hard......only thing to let me down was the gearbox....which is the same on a ph1 anyway.....and the shitty chocolate kent cams.........never again.

i think they are mainly too busy shitting themselves to bother dropping sweet wrappers etc....quite the opposite in fact, passengers tend to start squeezing things really hard when im driving lol..
looks arent everything tho mate. iv seen cars cobbled together that look a right mess ..but go like stink. function over aesthetics every time imho.
no point having everything looking lovely under the bonnet unless its purely a show car that sits with its bonnet open all the time.

most people go to tuners cos they cant do stuff themselves. most tuners are good salesmen.......mass produced quick in/out jobs pay the wages, and for mass advertisement......the guys that dont advertise are...
as any tuner worth their salt will tell you...minimal gains to be had if the cars standard. would be better off with other mods fitted before a re-map.

all the quicker clios use their exhausts......chris/nics cup, mine, several other mk1s, and a few mk gays.......
all depends on the outlet making them tbh....the 1 on my williams has been on there for 7+ years now. no they arent...
the 5.6 was timed at york....still have the printout somewhere.
and yes...raised limiter will allow you to hit 60 in 2nd gear instead of 3rd. even in std trim the car was timed......on a bad run i might add.....at 7.01....so a second and 1/2 with a gear change less.....very...
its a williams 3.........no biggy..they rust more than the rest.
now a williams 1 as a track car..only a fool would do that............unless of course you happen to have a couple of them ;)
