I must admit, I loaded mine up to the brim with luggage. 3's up down to Devon for a weekend holiday.. The car felt just as good as it did with just me in the driving seat.
I agree with Daniel, the interior quality of the Megane 225 I had wasn't very impressive at all, very cheap feeling plastics that seemed easily scratched.
Thankfully not! I drive a new, Grey 116d for work :sleeping:
Yeah Martin (Max Branning?) Is a decent crack, I don't have to be all 'BMW' around him which is refreshing.
Noted! Will try this Tuesday lol.
I float between Retailers tbh (I cover the South West) yet have mainly been with DL for the past 2 months.
BMW are rolling out a new trade parts program in January so it's a case of assisting and looking at how to get Dick Lovett more pro-active in trade sales...
Lol I'll be there Tuesday for a meeting.
I thought my route may be limited to going through the Centre :weary:. Such a relieve when I get to the M32.
I presume your in sales?!
Considered boost instead of NA?
I ran a chunkier cold air feed from the bottom of the Airbox to the fog light (fog light obviously removed)
Seemed to work well.
Yeah that's not bad.
I'll save a grand in the long run handing it back early, although that will be wasted when I decide in a few months I need another POS to play with.
It's going back 8 months early @ half the remaining lease minus the VAT.
Ive done a hard 14k in it but now I have a different job, I use it once/twice a month so it's just taking up space now.
Regarding a quote to buy, you can do that at any stage.
Also, if anyone has atleast a year left on their lease, it can be transferred with G2L to another person.
I've just taken the splitter, induction Kit and hid's off as it will be going back next month (early).
Saying that, I sold them on...
I tried to have a play with an R53 Cooper S... thinking it was standard/ish.
Then I spotted a 1320 sticker, then I heard a lumpy idle and pop pop exhaust... then I got completely mullered.
Since were uploading pictures/memories lol..
My 1st VTS - LOVED IT.
Supersprint, Panel filter and a cheap stainless 4-2-1 manifold = 145bhp on the dyno although it used to rev well into the redline...
266mm 206 GTI brakes and I cant recall what it was lowered on...
I had a quotation to hand mine back a year early.
Interesting regarding the tyres though, I need a pair and was just going to go for Bridgestones again as that's what it's currently got? Are they likely to kick up that you've gone for a cheaper brand, now running ,I'd and match tyres?
Eibachs are awesome for just a spring.

Exact guide I followed, its pretty easy to do. It should still be on @Brookie. Mini as that was my old car that I made it for.
See, Eibach springs and non-runflats are definitely something I would recommend as a cost effective exercise and I am sure @brookie would agree.
Dont worry about a Dave.F induction kit, make your own like I did for alot less.
I wouldn't go enclosed. A friend of mine spent a fortune on his and found the enclosed setup was a restriction.
I'd go silicone hoses with the filter behind the headlamp route like people do on 1*2's or simply, a standard Airbox with updated panel filter (no induction noise mind)
I ran 266mm on mine and unlike the 283 setup, stayed with the original master cylinder. They worked a treat tbh.
All you need is a manifold, exhaust and a decent air filter setup and it will fly along nicely.
