Really gets on my t*ts.... You would think that they could design some decent engine mounts... Seems that the std ones cant handle the torque of the engine... How different are they to the std clio range engine mounts?? Knowing renault they are exactly the same!

I've had the gearbox mount replaced and the also had the uprated ktec mount fitted which worked for a while but the engine is banging under acceleration again and worse in the wet... The top mount has also been readjusted numerous times.... How many other owners have this problem?? Is it...

The parts were only £14 supposedly... But the woman at the desk said it was an hour and a half's labour which did the damage.... Oh and they did a health check free of charge as well whatever that is!?! lol However it has solved the buzzing noise at 4k rpm which is good. Now i need to stop...

No the noise is definitely from around the engine bay and its really annoying!! Cant wait to get it back.... I've got a micra 1.2 speed machine at the mo!! ;)

^^Sounds similar to the diagnosis I got.... I'll be mad paying £117 for something that doesnt fix the problem though... I'll let you know....

Big hammer sounds good right now....

Today I had to put my 172 cup back into a renault dealer as there was a metallic buzzing noise coming from the engine bay at around 4000rpm. It only seemed to last for 200 rpm max and it didnt matter if the engine was under any load and what gear/speed it was doing, it would always happen...

I've got that samsung from empire direct and its really good. It has the what hi-fi recommendation as well....

I've had the lower mount changed for a ktec polybush one and the car shudders like a diesel now... If its a used car you have bought the last owner may have done this....

Stick some 16inch turinis back on it and lower the front end and I think it would look better...

Im paying £18 a month for sky tv, wireless broadband and free evening and weekend calls.... Its regular tv though but I have got a sky+ box... The wireless router is cr@p though as it constantly hangs. My g/f has the same one and she has exactly the same issue.

nah it was dunbarton. I've been to the bearsden branch and wouldnt touch them with a barge pole. Had to get my whole engine replaced after they mucked my car up...
