After the interior was cleaned I then removed the tdc sensor and gave it a clean up before re-fitting. Have been having a slight issue where it takes a second or so longer for the engine to fire when re-starting it hot after a lengthy drive, e.g. at petrol stations, nipping into a shop etc. Not...
Spent a few hours today doing a few bits and that to the car, first of all gave the interior a quick going over as it hadn't been touched this year I don't think! Used Meguairs APC on surfaces and carpets then hoovered, pretty happy with the results for a quick half-hour job. Also got some mats...
Gave the interior a clean-up, using meguiars APC wiped down plastics and cleaned carpets etc., then hoovered out. First time using megs, great product, now feels much fresher, first time interiors been done this year lol. Then I also removed tdc sensor and cleaned up tip, and removed throttle...
Clio Williams seen heading through broughty ferry on the road out to monifeith on Thursday, must have been around 3pm-ish. Looked nice, first time Iv seen one on the road I think!
That last shot it looks bloody excellent, BG isn't half mean looking from certain angles. Currently in the process of collecting parts to re-do my own exhaust, it sits ok but that's only because it's bodged with cable ties in the hangers for now, bugs the hell out of me knowing it's like that...
I know, Iv seen them mentioned at well over £100, so doubt il ever get one tbh! They look so much cleaner though, really finish the front end off nicely!
Definitely looks like it's been looked after, good job with the exhaust as well  what kind is it, any idea?
That looks really tidy is that the original cup splitter I see? Really want to replace the skoda one for a cup but don't think il ever be able to justify the cost
Much cheaper than halfords stuff I'm guessing? Il take a look in screw fix...interesting about the bathroom stuff, held up ok with the heat I take it then? Just don't want to be re-doing it again and again, read all the stories about paste crumbling away after no time at all and having to...
Bit of a bump on this one, in need of some exhaust silicone myself...is this pretty much the same stuff below? Searched for the copper stuff above but seems to be discontinued for some reason...
Excellent cheers, that would be fine if that's the case, I'm sure they would have sent out a clamp packaged with the pipe if one was required eh. Also I don't remember getting a new clamp from milltek with the cat back system to join the centre to cat at the time, sure I used the existing...
Just a quick question for milltek owners out there, can anyone help me...im looking to fit a milltek decat pipe to my current milltek cat-back system, do I need to buy a new clamp to join the decat to centre sections, similar to the clamp that milltek supply with the cat-back system that joins...
Not updated this since I started it, so here goes, nothing too exciting, just general maintenance really, plus finally got round to uploading the RON98 map onto the car, what a difference! So much smoother low down the revs and pulls better right the way up, such a great mod for how easy it is...
Was just reading about that, sounds great but unfortunately away on holiday tomorrow! Would love to get more involved with the club at some point in the future though, will keep an eye on things!
I'v read people on here before saying low down hesitation could be a lambda sensor issue mate, I had the same problem for a week or 2 but strangely enough it disappeared without me actually doing anything, beginning to wonder if I have a bad earth somewhere causing intermittent faults, only...
I seen that, seemed to be a few very different opinions on them but overall it seemed that the 87 xl were the ones to go for with the stiffer sidewalls, will see how I get on with them!
The ns-2's have very decent levels of grip for the road in the dry however in the wet I have experienced...
The website is a bit of a nightmare, difficult to understand the differences if any between their listings and seems impossible to contact them with any questions! Just ordered 4 x ps3's 87w from Oponeo, nice simple website and a straightforward order with free delivery within 2 days. Looking...
Going to be getting under the car this weekend, getting a rattle around 2k revs that sounds like its coming from underneath, will be replacing the hangars and cat to manifold gasket kit, so whilst im there I will also be checking that the heatshields aren't rattling like I've read on here loads...
Yes I did also notice that the 'green' ones appeared to actually have a worse fuel economy rating, makes no sense whatsoever! Will have a look on those 2 sites as well, cheers!
As above, has anyone on here used them recently and got experience with dealing with them? Was looking at a set of Michelin PS3's in 205/45 zr16 87w, however noticed they have 2 different price listings for what appears to be the same tyre, one around £84 per corner and the other £87? Anyone...
