As above, mine was corroded to high heaven on the connector, the fog connector splits off the loom near the horn on mine and has its own plastic connector.

Think the standard light goes under the name "Over Rev Warning Indicator" or something similar.

As above, They are almost impossible to get out in one piece. Should be able to disconnect the cable however and leave it attached to the hub.

I'd swing a guess at aux belt tension, has it had it's major service yet/recently ?

Confirmed today these do come with everything that your old one has, e.g pully and connectors for the output. Straight swap with a refund of £24 for my old unit, around £109 all in.
