Well, this Saturday the ‘project’ moved forwards a little more when the Daytona’s found there way into the car. After the subframes only took 3 days to arrive from Sixonetwo (£135 delivered) it was rude not to fit them tbh! Rimstyle would have got the business but claimed that Cobra now charge...

I told Flux about my stealth as it replaced the standard one when it fell off. It didnt cost any extra as i just said i bought it as it had a lifetime warranty, no extra power anyway ...

Just put a stealth on it, its just a like for like exhaust made out of stainless steel instead of rusty tin foil ...

Having lifted them out of mine at the weekend, id say about 3 tonnes :S I would weight them for you, but i dont have scales lol ... Sorry, im being about as much help as a chocolate teapot

I had 4 x brand new ones on my cup when i bought it. Thought they were rubbish tbh, replaced them with contisports after a week. Found them to be slippy in the damp and poor compared to contis in the dry.

Thanks, will purchase now. Silly question (but the seats are at home so cant check) what do i attach the cobra seat to the frame with - do i need to buy anything else?

Need a bit of help really, have my Cobra Daytonas sat at home & the subframes arrived today. Only thing is, theres only 2 buts/bolts in the box. Now am i missing something or dont i need a few more :S Chap at Cobra said just use the original ones in the car - but tbh, he didnt really sound...

Simple really, drive them all, see which you prefer. We all have our favourites, my girlfriend prefers her TT to my sh1tbox ... shes obviously mad ;) Cup owners will say cup, 182 will say 182 and Ali will be along soon to say buy a V6, etc, etc :)

Depends what you want. Ive got a 172 cup & used to have a 182 with both cup packs. Price wise, the cup is worth 4k, the 182 (at the time) was £11k ... it wasnt worth the extra £7k lol ... Tbh i prefer the cup, bit more raw, but im mad, i do 30k a year and should really drive a 3 series, not a...
