    My engine hates the cold?

Replace them yourself, would probably only cost you a tenner for NGK's in Euro Car Parts. Easy enough to fit too IIRC.
  2. Ethan1996

Clio 182 - Refurbishment and Modifications

7 IIRC. Search for Civic aerial on here tons of people have used them.
  3. Ethan1996

    Clio RS250

Nope. Maybe if you get 55W mental ones, but standard 35w ones are fine or else noone would use them (renault included in their Xenon's IIRC!)

    Touch up pen?

Never looks as good as a respray tbh. If you put up the scrape we can advise on what to do! Some might come out with some polish/t-cut.

    Smiggy's 182 Build.

Fair point. Noone ever does a dirt brown theme, would be the easiest by far.

    Clio RS250

Looks awesome! Best of luck with the sale! Hope it goes to someone who will look after it. Hurry up @Gears you know you want it!!! Even has projectors for some HID's.

Black 1.2 16v. Not for long....

Looks pretty good mate, love the colour! Ignore everyone saying "don't its a 1.2!", at the end of the day a car is what gets you from A to B. Just because it isn't a rocket ship doesn't mean it's worthless like alot of people on here seem to think. Your money your car! I'd lose the windscreen...

Clio 182 - Refurbishment and Modifications

Awesome attention to detail!! Civic aerial fits these well IIRC with barely any overlap and decent signal.
  9. Ethan1996

    Joe's Ph2 172

Can't you go back and get them to rotate them or fit different ones? At least then you can go over speed bumps properly ;)
  10. Ethan1996

    Smiggy's 182 Build.

Looks awesome with the white cage! Maybe get white hoses etc. too under the bonnet and start a theme?

    Just purchased first clio 182

Exactly what's been said, if you cant find it on here it hasn't been done. Even information on something explicit with an Espace handbrake in General chat you may discover one day if you get full membership. The joys of CS! ;)

wanting xexon bulbs but what fitting

Yes what @McGherkin said. Non projectors = everyone blinded driving towards you. Not cool. You can get slightly whiter looking "xenon" bulbs, which are standard bulbs but tinted. These would be good for the xenon look without blinding everyone.

    Renault clio lights

Ah my mistake. I suppose my 6000K did have a tint of blue TBH. One thing I miss about the Clio the projectors and HID's. Need to get projectors for the Astra. £400 :(
  14. Ethan1996

    Renault clio lights

If you don't have projector headlamps, see below. Then it'll blind everyone. If you do have those headlights, you want H1 HID's, 6000K is white, higher K = blue, lower K = yellow IIRC? But yeah, apart from what 1.6GT projectors look like this has been covered a fair bit.

    Squeeking on wheel turn.

Not fatal if aux belt slips, fatal if it snaps and goes into the cambelt.
  18. Ethan1996

    HID kits! (Clio 197)

Projectors HID's are H1 in a MK3. Projectors are a must or they're just awful tbh and blind everyone.

Cool will take a look now. Poundland do an aerosol spray one that I've been using, works really well in the bay TBH lasts ages, must be because it isn't exposed.

    Engine oil for a 1.2

Exactly what Jack said. I'd use triple qx or whatever it's called from ecp. Always wanted to try it and the deals look good. 5w30/40 and fully synthetic is what you want.

    Clutch Manufacturer

Vauxhall are replacing the box under warranty on my 1.6 Astra. Going to get the clutch to add onto the work, as I only have to pay the price of the part. I've seen a few options; Sachs £87.60 LUK £160.80 LUK £79.19 Transmech £59.40 Now I understand the Transmech ones are considered a bit...
