All the connectors firmly in place in the door? Don't they unplug in the door hinge area so you can remove the door? Check these are plugged in correctly.
Cordless rotary? Swear I've seen some around before, is the das6 pro cordless or is that just photos I've seen without the cable?
Edit: far from a rotary polisher but cordless and I imagine better than a 12v halfords polisher

Edit again: what...
First thing I'd try is a different switch if it'd working fine connected straight to the battery then the motor etc is obviously fine, I'd lube up all the runners/sliders etc and then try a different switch and see if that works.
Ah okay, I'm 17 currently with a 1.2 but will be finishing my apprenteship next year so my salary will go up a fair bit, seriously considering trying to look for a ph1 or even a 197 depending on job security etc, just wondered if it'd be hard to test drive one closer to the time.
Ah then it's obviously down to dealer discretion I guess as to if they let you? As i'm assuming no 18 year old could walk into Renault and test drive a 197 for example.
Lower mount is the dogbone mount iirc. I heard the symptoms of that needing changing are if the gearstick wobbles when going on and off the accelerator.
Since I've bought the car I've always found on deceleration changing down into 1st/2nd was always a bit difficult/notchy.
The general opinion on here was syncros could be worn, as the notchiness goes away when the car is stationary. However, recently as the weathers warmer I've noticed...
Asda sell it £3 a can, ebay sell it around a fiver a can, marlins sell it but it's around a tenner a can :( amazon or ebuyer I find a good place to get it if I can't go to asda
Just wondering, do you find the asda screenwash good? It's dark blue in a rectangular shape bottle and it's always out of stock at my local, tried it once and thought it was excellent but can never seem to buy it again! I agree with the quality of the microfibres, mine are coming up for a year...
Could it be cheaper/easier to buy a HID kit and fit it if the ballasts broken? Renault ballast linked is £25 quid - eBay HID kit money, just a thought!
Bit of an update for anyone interested, took my pillars apart and the car does NOT have wiring for a centre light already in place, it only has wiring for the front light. Splitting the wiring would be difficult, on a mk3 the interior light wiring is some stupidly thin cable that can't be...
Very interesting cheers for that! Good thread Phoon, I always thought it adjusted how much washer liquid came out when you washed the windscreen (more drips = increased flow rate or power of water spray sort of thing) Mines always been on max, learn something new every day!
Iirc you can't put an update list in a car that's had a tuner list stereo, don't hold me to that though and I'm sure someone else will back me up or correct me soon. You can however buy a Connects2 audio aux adaptor for a tuner list stereo, could be easier to get one of these for around £20...
Fog lights you mean? If so then I believe it's a different loom for them, and then a different stalk in the car iirc. Personally I probably wouldn't bother wiring them up.
