Mine does it too, plenty of fluid and new belt fitted by Mick at diamond. Presuming pump is shagged. I just give it a rev....or forget, stall and swear a lot.
Got a few plans for it, I know they're not meant for comfort or warmth but I'd like to get it a bit more refined for on road, at the minute the heaters are s**te and the sun roof leaks, general landy things apparently.... could do with finding a newish one and ripping all the dash and everything...
well.. copied from Sagara's PM earlier
The door internals failed 6 times in 6 months, either locking you in or out of the car and everytime it was back to Lotus in Leicester, first two cost me £800 then everytime after it was covered but still a pain in the arse and it took a week to sort...
Yep it looks mint, there's two about a 90 and a 110 with the same paint, bring on the snow :D
Ah i'll have to give him a bell, I imagine Danny's not the slow and controlled type of off roader :approve:
Hah I brought a good'n my Landy friend recons! Its your fault I brought it, I've always liked them then I got properly looking after you posted up the link of your mates!
Well as some of you know my Exige was nothing but trouble so I made sure I sold it somewhere far enough away it couldn't come back to haunt me (a chap from Italy came for it).
Not really knowing what I wanted next I ended up buying this to knock about in.
Standard about from a stainless middle...
I was hanging my nose over a Z4M coupe actually, always loved them. I'm knocking about in a 172 at the mo which is good fun actually, been offered it at a good price but its leaking from the crank seal so might buy it and run it through winter and save some pennies up!
Jon is selling his Tuscan... but that's just as unreliable and expensive as the Exige was...
Yeah that's true I've read about the gearbox's on 200's, and the seat wear... hmm.
S3 and R32's are both nice, but last time I was on track all I could hear was two S3's understeering wildly behind me!
I'm very tempted by a new GP but they're damn expensive, hmm I've had two mini's now and did all I wanted to the both really I think i'd sooner had something different
Haha tempted...
I may be sensible and go for a Clio 200, think it'll tick the fun/reliable box pretty well, plus I can buy one with cash and have spare money for track days!
