Wow, nice purchase. Similar attitude to me, I could die tomorrow so may as well get the best I can afford now and worry about being sensible later. Although yours is on a much more expensive scale than mine Lol.
The fresh paint you put on the quarter panel would look different from the door due to many reasons, waterbase compared to solvent, method of application, differing paint manufacturers etc.
In my experience it isn't, you don't have to worry about orange peel/it looking "dry" for a start, and dirt nibs will show up a lot less in it. As long as you get an even coating it's simple.
We had a standard XKR in at work for a bit, one of the best sounding cars I've ever heard, like god stubbing his toe on the way to have a pish during the night.
Pay £12 to be a member, go into the traders section, figure out which specialist is closest to you, take it to them. At least you know they won't bullshit you.
No, the standard metal clip will hold the new bulb in place. You'll have to take it off, put the new HID bulb in then put the clip back on again though as its a bit bigger than a standard bulb and theres the wires in the way as well. You'll see what I mean when it comes to fitting.
It HAS to be low with some nice wheels. It's only acceptable keeping it standard if you're over 50 and wear fleeces and hiking boots as general day to day wear.
Nice and simple, I like that. Needs to be lower but you're getting there. You'll soon get bored of sensible ride height anyway.
Well done on getting rid of that s**t font on the number plates from the second set of pics, no idea why everybody in NI seems to love it.
Re: Purple Haze 200.
Lovely. Needs LED number plate lights when you get the HIDs in!
Was it you who bought the projectors from me? If they're fogging up it's probably because the seal around where the HID kit goes through will have split a little during fitting, get a load of tiger seal over...
