First of all, why did I want to de-badge my sport?

On a serious note, maximum mileage adjustment on a car that age can be no more that £1-1.5k surely. not £4-5k! Clown.

Can't answer question one, but Those Turinis will fit. They are the aftermarket spec offset as opposed to the standard cup spec. I'm sure there are hundreds of photos of clios with them on on here.
And as for tyres. 172 cup+non cup +182 all come with 195 profile as standard, Trophey's come with...

Panel filter will not make it louder as it fits into the standard box - and it's the box that has all the sound deadening in it. I had a K&N 57i in my 1.2 and always liked the sound of that. My mate has a pipercross one and that also makes a good purr.

I had very similar symptoms and it was the "flywheel motion sensor." I presume by Cranked ovder you mean ticked over? like your turning the key and its firing the started motor but not the engine?
Ok I did'nt think you'd done those things but I wouldn't trust wobbly bolts atall. Never make a true mate with the two parts. Even the name of them suggests damage
