Wind Deflectors

just recieved my heko wind deflectors fitted them etc, one problem i dont know if its ment to happen, when the window goes up is there ment to be a space between window and deflector for the window to go up easily, or is the window ment to touch the deflector? mines kind of rubs against it but closes alright...
