and somebody was telling me a few weeks ago they had never heard of scorpion exhausts cracking. Common fault indeed, the system they designed for the 306 gti6 was hopeless, so much so that they even redesigned the centre pipe but it still cracked. Cheap, poorly designed and manufactured exhausts.
This thread upsets me, so much potential and yet it looks awful. Lose the Orange, stickers and that backstreet abortion of an exhaust and it will look better x1000.
Painted drums? Really? FFS!
Wow another local person, personally I think I'm going to be making a trip up to tdf in the spring time for itb's matt's kit seems like the best 'bang per buck'
I've said it before but I'll say it again, if i was spending any money on carbon it would only be going to streamline. They are the only people to use proper carbon and not cheap wet lay crap.
Got to disagree unless its a valver or Williams (which I'm guessing it isnt) I wouldn't bother with them, they are too old now and too prone to metal worm. I say the mk3 would be a nice car for a 17 year old. Like you said cheap to insure and nippy enough
I prefer just to get work done for me, that way I know it will be right and i'm not going to ruin my car. Also i can drop my car off in the morning and it can have what ever work im having done when im sleeping, then i wake up and my car is back outside my house.
I'm not a fan but if you want to do it then just do some interior bits if you don't like it you can always take them off :). And imo carbon effect vinyl looks dog turd.
no photos as i'm too lazy to upload any but it was a 1992 k reg astra 1.4 spi slow as hell but bought it for 150 pounds ran it for a year. Then needed 150 pounds of welding done to it to get it through its mot kept it for a couple more months then handed it down to my other half who ran it for...
Nah not motorsport just general pics really holiday, mates, scenery, car. Zoom does get used although its rubbish on my compact and i think i would miss it. the idea of learning shutter speeds etc does sound interesting but im unsure in reality if i would ever be bothered to learn. Im unsure...
Evening all I'm after getting the other half a decent camera for her birthday (which I can also use). At the moment we just have a dire point n shoot camera, budget is up to £350 I've been looking at some of the 'bridge' cameras and I was hoping the cs experts would be able to point me in the...
