^ Yeah that's what I thought. They did say it would depend on whether the cat had hot anything etc etc, but I explained to them that it had just rusted through near the flared end - it's got absolutely nothing to do with the s/s exhaust, it's just crappy poor quality renault steel.
Exhaust started blowing the other day. Took it to ATS today, and the Cat has rusted through around the back, and is blowing into the heatshield. The car is booked in at Renault on Thursday for them to have a look. What I want to know is, will they replace it under warranty? The car is less than...
LOL. I drove my 182 for the first time in a week last night, and my exhaust started blowing from the join between cat and mid-section. Thing is, it's a blueflame not a standard one, and I've got no time to get it fixed but it's proper embarassing! It sounds like a dodgy Nova with a big bore on...
Do you mean the Blueflame one, the larger of the 2 that K-Tec sell?
If so, I've had mine on for about a month and I really don't think it's very loud at all!
^ Well think about it for a second - you'd have to buy new black plastic bits for the grille etc, and get a body shop to respray the side strips. Not the cheapest thing in the world surely?
I've got four tickets for RWS that I'm trying to give away, as I can no longer go - the gf wants us to visit her sister that weekend! *yawns*
Wow Bubbles that looks sweeeeet!! It looks so much better than I imagined. When you mentioned you were thinking about getting a carbon bonnet at that Maidenhead meet, I thought you were nuts (only coz I love the liquid yellow), but that actually looks the nuts! I can't wait to see it in the...
The 182 doesn't have a spare wheel well!
The cup didn't have xenons, climate control, auto wipers/headlights (iirc), a half decent stereo, or decent (read half leather) seats.
Yeah I've heard others with this problem. IIRC, it's the weatherstrip around the top of the windscreen, which protrudes slightly, making a whistling sound. You could get a windscreen place to re-seal it for you, or have a go yourself?
Gutted for you matey - it's such a pain in the ar*e when stuff like that happens, but like others have said, try not to blame the gf, and try to ignore some of the less constructive criticism on here
^ You seem to have spent an unhealthy amount of time examining his website! ;)
Most of us closed that browser window as soon as we realised what he was about!!
