    Adjusting Xenons for Continental Driving

Well that's what I thought originally, which is why I asked the question. Like somebody said, they don't bother when they come over here, so I shall probably not bother either!

    Ady on A27

You came up behind me in the lane to leave the A27 and join the Eastern Road yesterday - I was in a yellow Honda S2000

    Adjusting Xenons for Continental Driving

Oh I know about that, but that's just for up and down. The beams also point to the left, and they need to point right in Europe.

    Adjusting Xenons for Continental Driving

Is this possible, or do I have to have those crappy beam deflectors? I know some cars have a sort of adjustment lever, which changes the dipped beams for driving abroad. I just wondered as those beam deflectors you can get don't seem suited for the projector lens type of headlamp that's on my 182.

    Dodgy Reno Jack.... Near miss!

My old Pug 306 jack collapsed on me too - I'd not even got the bolts of the wheel before it bent in half! And yeah, my sills have been bent too by my trolley jack antics. Anyone know the best place to use a trolley jack on our clios?

    sick clio

Yeah there's not alot you can do matey. Just another lesson learned the hard way I'm afraid. That's what HPI checks are for.

That's right. Cat A or B must not be driven on the road again.

    Janspeed Exhausts

Yeah you really need a "before" and "after" done on the same equipment, on the same day, for a fair test.

    Leaking Climate Control

Well the carpet is nearly dry now. It's not rotted or gotten smelly, so I don't see any need to get it changed.

    Silver 182 - Emsworth

Silver without cup packs, leaving the A27 at Emsworth from Chichester. I nodded and you nodded back - 2 fine young ladies. You then followed me through Emsworth. :D

    Leaking Climate Control

Update: I've not been using my climate control for the past couple of days now to avoid soaking my carpets any more than necessary. However, I tried it out on the way to and from work today, and had absolutely no leakage. Got home, got out and checked under the car to see the usual drippage of...

    Leaking Climate Control

Ok thanks. In that case I'll think I'll leave it Renault to sort out under warranty on Friday.

    Leaking Climate Control

Ah that's probably it then. I don't get any water under the car, so it must be the drain pipe that's blocked. Where is it? Is it easy to get to? Should I bother taking it to Renault on Friday still, to get them to do it?

Because Of This F***** B***** Of A Forum..

Neither did mine - I think it must have been an optional extra.

    Leaking Climate Control

Well I thought it was condensation too, but there's far too much water. Then I thought maybe a leaking condensor/heater matrix, but that would smell funny surely? As for Kwik Fit, I'm really not comfortable taking my car to the worst place in the world, for their "professional" opinion - I'd...

    Leaking Climate Control

My climate control is leaking water into the cabin!! Both footwells are wet (mainly the driver's side, which is soaked), and the glovebox, which has a puddle in it! Anyone else had this problem? My carpets are starting to smell a little. The car is booked in at the stealers on Friday, but I'm...

Because Of This F***** B***** Of A Forum..

The whole turning the ultrasonics off thing - can't it be done by just locking the door with the actual key in the passenger door lock, or does that just not set the alarm full stop?

    Help! Stripes Stained!!

Seriously? Do you think that would sort it? Is there anything else I could try in the meantime?

    Help! Stripes Stained!!

My white stripes are stained with what looks like orangey-yellow spots, and the surface has gone very "matt" (as opposed to all glossy). I've tried AutoGlym Super Resin Polish, AutoGlym Intensive Tar Remover, and AutoGlym Paint Renovator, but nothing seems to be able to shift it. Anyone got any...
