No problem matey. Mine's been ripped off so many times by things like stray pheasants, kerbs etc, that you get used to screwing them in all the time. I'm just glad I didn't get the wrong end of the stick by mis-reading your post!
P.S. You might want to drill some tiny pilot holes for the...
On Saturday. It was a BookaTrack day. There were 2 172 Cups, one of which was out on track, a red V6 also turned up, drove around then left. There was also a Williams being loaded back onto a trailer after the owner had bent the front end after some sort of off - damned shame!
Post a pic of the splitter matey, as it sounds to me like you're assuming the screws under the front of the bumper hold the splitter on, when in actual fact they hold the undertray in place. The splitter has it's own self-tapping screws that screw directly in to the bumper. I just hope I've not...
I've just read this and I have to agree with Roy. Clios handle just fine in the wet, very well in fact. They'll only spin if you do silly things. I don't think it was ABS that saved you, more likely to have been your ESP, as that corrects spins, lift-off oversteer and other moments of...
Right. 2 questions:
1) What's the best large volume car shampoo at a reasonable price (we have 4 cars in our household)?
2) Can anyone recommend a good, safe alloy wheel cleaner?
If the products recommended are a touch obscure, links for sites selling them would also be appreciated...
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the Clio (Phase 2 anyway) has a torsion bar - hence the rear springs.
Like everyone said, fairly striaght forward, especially the rears. I'd agree with Fubar that you'd be looking at an hours labour, which isn't too bad if you can't be arsed to do it...

For some reason I don't know how to post piccys from my putfile account properly in here, so I've got those annoying IMG things all over the place!
That looks really good. It's nice to have something like that to look back on in years to come, when the cars been and gone etc, and think: WOW - that was my car! :D
I washed the car yesterday and thought I'd give the meths things a go. Couldn't find ant meths, so tried white spirit instead. It did absolutely nothing!
mmmm.............. methylated spirit eh? I might give that a try on little bit of cloth and see how that goes.
P.S. That's quite some effort to make the first letter of each word Caps!? :S
I have a similar problem with my stripes too. They get a bit dull and sometimes have the odd bit of staining on them too. I tried Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover and Super Resin Polish, but had no luck with either! :(
Crow: My foglight from eBay arrived the other day - it's not an official Renault part, but it is identical to the original item. Well worth the saving I think. If you don't want to buy from eBay and want a genuine OEM part, try GSF in Portsmouth - it's £40, but they'll give you 10% off for being...
We all make mistakes (especially in our early days of driving) - that's how you learn! It's suprisingly easy to roll a car, although easier to drive in a manner that won't! You're just lucky you lived to learn from this mistake.
