Its a track car im only going for E85 for 1 reason more power. The car has to be NA to be classed under 2L and there are alot of hondas running close to or above 250 hp at the flywheel im racing against.
I need a little more help than just the renault race yellow

Have had the exact discussion with my engine builder. He made a very good piont. He has seen bad batches of E85 ie not enough ethanol and he has seen engines go pop because of that. Rather be safe and a little less power than go pop. The EMS will handle the compression ratio no probs

The end compression ratio will be 11:1. With speaking to my engine builder using E85 this should be the highest "safe" compression ratio running E85 given the possible variability in ratio ethanol to petrol and possible pre ignition

disater strikes.
at 5.30 in the morning left for phillip island for the track day, filled up with fuel. About 5km down the road pulled over to check straps were tight on the trailor.
Petrol pissing out like a shower, clearly a fuel tank issue of some sort.
Took the car back to the mechanics...
still to add:
front and rear sway bars and k-tec race gear box stabilisor. carbon loraine 6 brake pads and brembo hc slotted front discs.
unfortunitly cat cams 421 cams have been delayed like everyone elses so cams and dyno will be done when thats complete.

Finally got the car back ( well nearly)
It's been a while since I posted because the car's been stuck getting fixed for the last 3 months
Cars finally been logbooked and is now cams registered to be able to race. Picked up the car Thursday night late thought I could Rush and get it ready for...
While waiting for my cage and cams and otger fast bits to be finished I thought some renault yellow to the bumper would add some speed. (Doesnt seem to be helping jolian palmer at the moment though)
Will look great against the silver.
