My exhaust system is now in half and sounds like a tractor and has no power:dapprove: im hard up on money atm with other problems so was wondering if anyone knows of decent exhausts for under £200 (names,places,performance) seen this anyone know how they sound or build quality...

I was in your shoes 2 weeks back all i did was cut the 2 clips down in the middle of the splitter then screw it in place how i wanted it to sit then cut the ends down. Job done, used string to hold it in place while i was getting it to sit perfect

yer thats the one i havnt got, was going to see if these mounts make a different if not il upgrade that as well. Just annoying noise everytime i set of sounds like a rattle noise like heatshield but there all on tight :/

what area of the engine is the bolt on, drivers side?

It sounds like the exhaust it only happens when setting of below 2,000rpm, just wanted to check its not anything else. Got my new set hopefully arriving on tuesday so the noise should go. U emailed ktec asking? last time i looked they said not in stock till the 30th

I wouldnt of mind doing that but his audi had loads of dents in it so dont think he would care if he knocked my car a couple of times i cared more about my car only had it 3days, so just decided to leave him and carry on with him falling into the distance.

Defo not mate, its an open one so will be taken more hot air in then cold. You need an all inclosed one with a cold air feed pipe.

For a FWD car at prices under 6k second hand and 14k brand new with that much power, fun and comfort i find it hard to beat a clio RS Give me something thats FWD, handles brilliant and has 170bhp or more for under 6k (not a modded FWD) il eat my 172

Top engine mount, just seen some threads with you asking about ktec...did you fit them to yours? the pain is its gone the same time as my exhaust so screwed on money

Maybe wire it up to your interior light? that way comes on when you unlock the car and goes of when door is closed Stuff from halfords never turns out how you like it though

I thought they were real figures its just people get confused with ps and bhp, arnt the clio measured in ps not bhp thats why there not full on power e.g 172ps = 169bhp

Any pictures of the engine bay? 280ps arnt they which works out at 276bhp and 262lbs ft of torque, so christ big improvement on torque
