Hi guys and gals just wondering if there is any one in the south west region Wales /Bristol area that does flocking? I'm thinking about getting the top dash of my phase 1 done just wondering if any one can recommend a company or has an idea of what it costs ? I can paint it black but I'd rather...
Just after a pic of some people running some camber bolts and shims ... im looking to get the ebiach set but am debating on the rear shims they are 1degree so if any one has pics say 1.5-2 deg on the front and 1 deg on the back would greatly help .... also feel free to post pics but please...
Ive taken it up to another garage who actually do my mot`s and thieve said they'd pass it the fact its solid to the floor and there is no rear seats as its got a cage in it would suggest its not required to move.... also they said seems as the seat is still in its f.i.a approval no one should...
I don't find in that good truth of it is if it needs new stem seals then no magic liquid will cure it ... I wouldn't worry if its just the valve stem seals all the extra oil is doing is lubing the valves and being burnt off... It's a pain on a road car but I'm sure some race cars don't use stem...
If you already have a blown phase 1 then take the inlets off and use the phase 1 inlets ? It'll kekeep the cable throttle and all just plplug back in? Pretty sure it's no big deal
Such a shame I was stoodrig where it went pop. Me and a mate we loving the banter with that starlet was so closest just had that bit of extra ommph got any pics of you'r engine and the damage? Couldn't believe it was running so smooth? Know exactly what went wrong yet?
Heya guys and gals just an odd question I've been totold by a local mot test centre and a mate that a seat has to have 2 sliding positions to be mot legal... Is this true ?? My thoughts would be that it being mounted solid to the floor of the car makes it safer as there is less to fail in an...
Was a shame I wondered what happened to the black one I thought it was a clutch or box issue as it just rolled to a stop after quarry corner ... Was wierd with the red one I was stood just after quarry corner and there was no rattles or knocks he came so close to passing the starlet and then...
Just wondering what happened to you yesterday at f.c.s the red one with diesel badges.. We were routing for you slaying against that old jap crap :) and the. Pop loads of white smoke? Was sad to see you go off as you were giving them 106'S the what for lol :)

Just so you're not alone I have the same issue every now and again with the going to pull away and the car is flat and then suddenly it's off .... I reckon it could be ignition leads or similar down that route, however I've been having issues with the sticky throttle body as mines a phase 1...
So pay 400 for a long life one stop discriminating against looks and of it goes wrong then there insured .... And you know it'll be fine as k tec sell one so they'll probably do exactly the same as ktec ..... Or don't spend 400quid on looks because let's face I when a type r come up next to u on...
sounds a bit dephasar ish ... recently i had the worlds worst sound coming from mine sounded like the internals of the engine were escaping.... turned out to be a bolt had fallen out of the alternator bracket at the bottom and the alternator was just banging about. could be worth a look
Just an update... It wasn't the aux belt i removed the injector cover today and the under tray and found a mahooosive bolt " i immediately shat my self " .... further inspection and shown it was the bottom alternator bolt had came out and the alternator was just smacking around, i loosened the...
I'm not an asshole and I don't mean to sound like one so sorry but you're playing with fire on this one in competent with tools and engines I built a vts from the ground up and it was great fun .... These f4r engines are insane the vvti system isn't something you want to be wrong on especially (...
Just to point out if you can only afford the pully then what's the point? If you can't afford a belt kit as well and while its in bits you may as well do the water pump its like £300 in parts and by then you might as well go full hog and take it some place... Even if you took the engine out and...
I'd reccomed the use of tools a can of tuna and alot of jägermister so atleast when it all goes tits up you can claim you were drunk..... But serious alot of specialist tools are needed dont try this at home....
Mines allrite few bits on the body to sort mainly parking dinks and I need a new rear bumper as some one had a huge exhaust cut out on it but apart from that I've just done the belts and pully it's lowers 60mm front 40mm rears on spax shocks got a half cage and axe8 wheels... You going to the...
Haha cool beans love the phase 1s don't see many about atall I'd have waved quicker but the mrs was driving and I said beep and she goes waaaa? Women lol
Personally I prefer to wet sand some not all but some are easier to wet sand with 2k and trizact 3k then a nice compound and a polish and never had any probs each to their own and it's all just preferred methods I would say I disagree about the s**t tho I've seen some ones that just don't shift...
You'll probably find that's because radiant red is a 2pac paint not a clear over base so In other words when u rub it you're rubbing the paint not the lacquer as there isn't any.... Alot of solid colours ( with no metallic ) are a single stage paint and you have to be careful as s**t especially...
If its eaten into the clear coat 4 passes with 2000 wet and dry and a compound on a machine polisher will sort it ... If you can't do this some one can so its not the end of the world p.s just a rough idea might need finer or corser or more paper but that's where I'd start... A sealant I find...
