You've lost the spacer ... Don't keep driving it you'll end up ripping the stub axle off and causing a horrid accident... Get onto renault or make a new spacer :)
Go to ecp get the normfest throttle cleaner it's like £4 but it really is good stuff it's made mine a million miles better ad there like £270 up to £350 from renault depending on the o.e numbers on it :(
Hey just a random one that heat Shield/ sound proofing on the firewall is it req will it cause any problems in not being there as mines fallen to bits as I've removed it so it's just gone in the bin and well tbh it looks loads better now.
Hey guys and gals just changing the throttle cable on ye old 172 and after removing my battered sound deading pad or what ever the hell it was supposed to be there is a random pipe hanging from the scuttle just above where the mani meets the cat.... What is it? It's bugging me it's about an inch...
Just I see Charlie at prospeed heel tell you exactly how to get the noise you want and even though it might not seem it from appearance there work there is insanely good I'm gonna ditch my oreca group n and get myself in there end of the month I do believe he has a 2 week waiting list atm!
The only thing up I can do if you won't swap the engine is ... Fast road cams... An induction set up I've got the k&n typhoon on my 172 and it's great no heat problems nothing but a lot of noise and I feel the car revs freer at the top.. And then a de cat
exhaust all followed up by a remap but...
As above £250 is pretty much what auto data reccomends most places that specialise in gearboxes etc might be able to so it cheaper I got £180 from a specialist near to me because of work :) but Ecp only list an luk clutch for up to 2001 and then valeo from there after .. Don't know if there's a...
Haha I agree I wouldn't have a loud exhaust on a slow pants car but in all honesty the clio sport range has a good enough power range to warrant a loud exhaust it has plenty of get up and go as standard :) even though I'd like more :)
I only drive the clio a few days a week as i have a can to travel to and fro work... I don't know really just love to have a noisey and completely anti social car just a bit of fun really I guess
As per title really I love a noisy exhaust as long as it's not on a 1l Corsa or similar so.. What's the loudest exhaust on a clio you've heard? I've got an oreca group n And it's loud but it's no where as loud as my mates type r with a dc sports exhaust so I'm a bit gutted his sounds amazing...
I'd like to add current mods are oreca group n exhaust inc decat and a ktec style induction, I have a jms box and filter but feel at high revs it feels restricted where as the k tec style seems to keep revving. Also I have good suspension etc spax Rsx all round decent brakes and braided lines...
Hey guys and gals been looking a whole now and I've owned my phase 1 172 for a year now and can happily say I'm pretty usto the power so I'm looking for something to do to it for a bit more oomph I've thought about cams and a map but is 12bhp really worth £700 and parts and labour I work for Ecp...
Height will alter camber though if you want it to handle well a full geo set up is the best way, had mine done best £50 ever spent its like a dream to drive now and I've solved my problem of rejoining tyres in 500miles... As my toe was miles out
Haha it's that after work drive where ur not really paying attention to anything and the I realise oh it's tony or oh it so and so and then u look like a tit waving at the car behind lol... Me and the mrs got a place In Newport so I only go to chepstow like 2wice a week now to see the rents and...
1k holy s**t is it hold played? Helix ones from Ecp are only like £300 and the standard one is like £100 retail for a valeo or luk item....... 1k is silly granted most places want £180 -250 to change it but still....
The Ecp pagid ones are good discs I'm using them on the back atm but had a massive grinding issue I'll tell u now stop driving it!!! The abs teeth are grinding on the abs sensor and the spider wen bit of the disc is grinding on the hub keep driving and it'll shear the stub axle off!! U need to...
Yes the 2nd option it's the one tucked up by the alternator :) Absoloute runt to get in and out IMO changed no 3 ... Won't do it agen lol easy yes nightmare yes
Bit of an odd one here guys and gals.... I'm suffering from very poor but rather equal tyre wear,,, the tracking is fine and the tyre wears very even all the way across its that bad I'm getting like 2k a pair on the front.... My wheels are wide 8inch by et30 but with 205 tyres makes no...

Think I'm going to go with the swissvax shield as I really like the idea of the Teflon coat in it as we all know what the weathers like here and with a nice clean and buff first I think it'll be good :) the zymol carbon looks a great wax but it's in the Same price range as the dodo juice etc...
If zymol gets the vote I really don't mind holding out another 2weeks getting a pot of concourse .... Also I do apologise for poor grammar I sit Infront of a computer all day and my eyes are hanging out my head
My prep is good but thanks for the advice as I know a lot if people won't prep and cause poor durability I use the swissvax cleaner fluid as James at ti22 reccomend it to give all swissvax the best durability.... I'm partial to try the zymol and carbon and concourse are 2 I'm really interested...
Ring euro car parts as we are official pagid distributor and can get the full pagid rs range to suit any application ( not just the blues ) tell the sales advisor it's all Ecpedia!
