I'm using ebc bluestuff there a great pad and have a really progressive feel to them with a lot of bite ... Matched to some brembo hc discs with grooves .... However recently I experienced massive fade but I am due a fluid change and as it was there was no ducting to the brakes so today I shall...
I suppose at least with the turbo conversion aswell once the cost of it's been bought and fitted later down the line forged pistons and rods are on like 1k and then up the boost :) ..... I guess in real life like chip said ud have to rag the car less as itd be shooting along with the torque "...
I was looking into the engine dynamics kit as it's stupidly reasonably priced but It dosent say much about an ecu with the kit just about mapping.... And I'm sure it dosent mean the standard ecu as it won't be able to recognise boost? .... What's the deal there buy the kit and then what else is...
Sounds fair enough what's the low boost conversion kit going to handle like on say a day to day basis and on a hard run? The torque and bhp gain seems to be ideally usable and where I'd want the car to be but at the same time I don't fancy engine and gearbox explosions lol, the ktec kit looks...
What's low boost like in terms of reliability vs throttle bodies tho as for me I love to have a hard spirited drive and also the odd track day but I've got something in me that says bodies will last longer than the turbo set up.... Can some one explain this further as if I'm wrong then I'll save...
HI Guys and gals just a quick one ive got a whine " almost like a bearings gone in a tensioner " its gets noiser with the revs but also the top end sounds really rattly? almost like theres a set of ball bearings rattling around when its revved..... " imagne it with no oil " ...... however the...

U pissed? It's called clio sport not Volvo sport.... Your question is better based on a Volvo forum? And tuning an 80hp engine is just silly gonna cost a fortune
Any one know what steering rack I have? I've iced my vin on Renault dealer site and It still dosent narrow down, I have a w reg phase 1 172 ....... Going to replace inner tie rods but can't work it out... Where on the rack is the marking? Don't fancy going outside label hunting as it's thrashing...
Can't see any blown fuses those are there anymore other than on the side of the dash... Also from what I cut I can't see the two are related? As I only cut out the stuff from the seats? ..... On another note I removed the sub and undone the battery terminal
but the car starts and drives fine and...
As per header bit of an odd ball one guys and gals whilst fitting buckets I removed the airbag ecu and cut off all the wiring for the seats ( only the wires going to it ) buuuut now the CD player dosent work ( no bother ) but my electric mirrors don't work either and nor does the temp and clock...
Used ktec a few times no problems infact I rate some of their stuff I've got there exhaust and think it's brilliant I couldn't be happier with the fit and sound
Is there any difference is clutches on the phase 1 and phase 2? I've got a w reg phase 1 and all the ole numbers I use on ecp system keep coming up luk and then 2001 on for the valeo? ..... Either this or I might get a helix paddle clutch with a springed plate and be done with it :)

Over run with cat isn't going to do what you want ... Fire and bangs you will

My thought 10w60 but I also thought the increased friction of the oil in real race terms is going to make the car go slower not that your going to notice but on naturally aspirated standard engine I thought the 50 seemd the best option it's reasonable money it'll perform the best for what I want...
Yeh I know what the oil grades mean thanks bud but it's what's suitable within thicker viscosity on a f4r engine and the pros and cons of said thicker oil in racing conditions and also day to day living ..... With that said I've found the 5w50 to be the next said best thing to the standard ...
After much digging turns out the valvoline vr1 5w50 has the highest synthetic content of what I can find and looks from pour point to temp wise it's going to be the best without a loss in power :) ....
