Here we go again.. what once looked like a bigger version of a George Foreman grill now shrinks for the second time.. (Hopefully in price too !)
Sony announces new super slim PS3
Smaller, lighter version of the PlayStation 3 console...
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Yes, I had exactly the same then I called the automated helpline, quoted my number and suddenly on the website it was unlocked and able to edit.. so I hung up and cancelled the adapters.. About 10 minutes from when I placed the order.
Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9
Just cancelled my adapters lol
Not wanting to wait ages for my phones to be delivered.. thanks for pointing that out ! Now says delivered 21/9 PHEW !!
How were you testing ? did you test on a wired computer or a wireless device ?
Test on wired and if you are still getting 0.5 then complain to your ISP as it's probably got a fault on your line.
Sorry, moving into a new build house in a few weeks (I managed to get the builders to pre-wire it with pink c-bus cable all going to the loft space) so no pics. But for the record I didn't bother with a sound proofed one as I won't hear the kit in the loft space anyway.. I decided in the end to...
This.
So get one with a power pass through plug.. or use a multi block extension.. use PS3 wireless downstairs as it should get a good connection if it is close to the router.
That's ok.. Like I said LG are better (certainly in reliability) but their PQ (IMHO) has a long way to go to match Panny/Samsung. But that's ok, as they fill in the lower end of the market.. not everyone wants to spend over 2k for a 55" when LG will do one for 1/3 of that.
Yes, no matter what any sales person says.. Plasma's still do suffer from image retention and in extreme cases burn in.
Having said that my 5 year old 42" Panny has at worst suffered image retention for 10-15 min and that was accidentally falling asleep with a static computer image on screen...
Just got myself the P55VT50 as I want the best PQ. I was not disapointed !
They used to the bottom.. now they are about 1mm above it.. They are nowhere near Panny and Samsung.
Shouldn't really behave differently.. should be BIOS controlled although I think it is possible to override this.
Nah, been running 64bit for years.. it's as stable as... well... a box running linux ;)
As said, get 64bit... I think they just 'recommend' it to people in case they download the 64bit version for a 32bit processor and find it doesn't work.
Wow, blast from the past..
I'm still using Ubuntu Linux as my primary OS.. got it hooked into all kinds of stuff now.. I used a Siri hack and coded some custom stuff so now my MythTV is fully controllable via Siri.. I can just say "Play big bang theory season 1 episode 6" for example and my...
Just download a Dell Windows Vista CD image from wherever (it's not illegal as you have a license !) burn it and use that to re-install/repair.
My bigger concern would be that you have a hardware fault.. probably HDD but not always. If you get stuck on the Dell installation CD let me know.. I...
I prefer them just capping the speeds.. some months I have downloaded over 500GB lol
But then I pay for the top service because I know I am a heavy user. I could pay for the lower service and leave it downloading 24/7... i'm considerate like that ;)
^ True, like I said they are still the best ISP. I wish Infinity was an option in my area though.
And to put things in perspective my first internet connection was a 14.4 modem lol - first 'proper' connection was Blueyonder @ 512k which I thought was mental fast :D
The STM will become more aggressive over time.. when they rolled out the 50meg there was no STM to encourage people to buy.. now they have them hooked introduce the STM and cut their speed by up to 75%
What is the point in paying top money for a connection you aren't allowed to take advantage...
Have you seen how quickly a BSOD flashes up ? lol... he just needs to disable automatic reboot upon crash, then he can take all the time he likes to read it (or just check the event logs).. and while you are at it enable memory dumps, you can analyze them to determine what the machine considers...
I understand where you are coming from, especially if all the drives are bought at the same time.
Just recently I had a disk on a RAID 5 array go down, we don't have the budget for replicating SANs so I retasked the rebuild buy increasing the minimum build rate and restasking the PID's to use...
I know it's sorted and all, but I hate leaving these things without mentioning the best way to sort it.
Ctrl + 0
Resets the txt size to how it should be as apposed to just adjusting the size until it looks right ;) totally pedantic I know but I have OCD with these type of things.
I think he is looking for iSCSI target rather than the initiator. I am sure I had the software on a file server at work but for the life of me I can't find it.
Give MS a call and ask them to stop being s**t.
