Not much mechanically, pretty much sailed through its MOT bar a ball joint, so thought it best to replace both. There is a whine from the engine area though, suspect the pas pump, but bit of a ballache to diagnose?
Cosmetically theres a couple of blemishes on the paint work thats doing my...
Yeh, the motherboard tray is on the opposite side than the norm, motherboard upside down, like this http://www.overclock.net/content/type/61/id/1272262/flags/LL. Think Silverstone patented the idea and basically blocked anyone from using that layout, so i heard anyway.
They also did a build...
Ive seen a few pics of the ATX case they are doing and it looks sweet, unsure if they will be selling to the masses or if its a one off though. They have a build log here: http://www.specialtechforums.co.uk/showthread.php?4320-Parvum-Systems-Project-Magnus
If they made a reverse atx S1.0 i'd...
Love them Parvum cases. If i got one though i would ask them to change the fan holes to a full opening and fit something like these to act as a filter: http://www.mnpctech.com/round120fangrill.mnpctech.com1.jpg.
Curious as to why you dont want copper in your loop though? Its fine to mix...
Plays more like a alpha for me. Lag, stuttering, weird inexplicable deaths, crashes, freezing, the list goes on really.
I'll wait till the final version is released and see whats what.
Just be wary of the screw length though!!! Alot of people, myself included, complaining that the screws included are far too long and WILL pierce the radiator. Corsairs reply was lame, claiming that the screws wont pierce the tubes, just the fins ^^. I had to use about 5mm of spacers just so...
Just spotted this bargain on ebay while looking for new mobo: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Gigabyte-G1-Sniper-M3-rev-1-0-Intel-Motherboard-/300948878975?pt=UK_Computing_LaptopMotherboards_CPUs_CA&hash=item4611f3767f
You dont have to use them ;). Its a quality mouse, great sensor, low lift off distance, comfy and Huano switches, best mouse ive owned since my G9x, and ive tried alot since. No gimmicky led's or crap software, just plug and play purity.
Have to say though, i just got a Zowie FK mouse and Zowie GT-F rough mat and they are feckin sweet. The mouse is so comfy to use i dont even realise im using it. Highly recommend the mouse for claw/fingertip grippers.
A ducky or filco will last you forever. Solidly built, cherry mx switches and can get backlit ones. For typing on they are supreme, and excellent for gaming if you dont need macros. The blue switches do have a noticeable click, browns, blacks and reds are preferred for gaming.
Have a look...
Have the Ventus V12's all round on my 182. I like them, brilliant in dry, and pretty good in the wet also. Only grumble is the sidewalls seem pretty soft. Think i run mine 34psi front and 31psi rear. Tried a few psi combo's and pretty happy with the way they are.
Remember hitting one a couple of years ago travelling to Innerleithen in my ex works VW Transporter. Probably doing 50-60 and spotted it ahead on the road. The stupid fecker decided to take off and i hit it smack bang on the front grill. Both headlights hanging out, metal grill bent inwards...
