Did you get the genuine Renault one? Think i read the non genuine ones don't seal too good. Anyway, didn't do anything other than fit it tbh and its all good.
I used some of this from my Waxybox sample and was really impressed by it. Used about a small cap full in 5 litres and it produced a really nice foamy solution. Really slick as well when applying and smells great, not over powering, just right really.
Just need to use the rest of my Lather...
Midnight
Had it on the ramp so was easy, hardest part was deciding which way the washers go on lol.
On stands, it could be fiddly i guess, if some of the bolts are seized.
Got it off :approve:.
For those that don't know, open flap, pull flap towards you then gently prise where its circled red above, bottom first as its slightly chamfered there. To refit just put the top bit in first, then the bottom chamfered bit.

Gently prize it out from where i've marked it on the pic?
Yeah lol! It decided to get a lot more cloudy just when i went to take some pics :(
@JD. I'm terrible at photography, so add that to cloudy skies, silver car = bad pics.
Looks good in the flesh though :p
Been waiting what seems like an age for a decent day to spend some quality time on the car. That day arrived today, hallelujah \o/!!
No pics of the process, but it consisted of:
Wash - Rinse - Decon (AF ObliTarate and AF Iron Out) - Rinse - Clayed (Farecla Clay Mitt) - Wash - Rinsed again. I...
Alright cheers. Looks to be a nice, sunny day here tomorrow so can't wait to give the car a thorough detail!
Just need to decide whether to use my Desire sample or Mirage sample.
