Only problem with this test is it shows how good certain kits are bolted to a stock motor not how good these kits are full stop.
When you throw mapping into the equation results would probably be different again especially on the kits where the graph is showing rough which would maybe point...
^^With IK's your not going to gain much but you can loose with the wrong kit.

Maybe it shouldnt fall off in 2 years but if its not covered under the cars warranty then theres not a lot you can do. See if you have any warranty booklets etc on the terms of your warranty. It'll tell you whats covered and whats not. Might still be worth giving them a call though and maybe try...
Your BHP might be about average but your torque figure is well above average. Sure stock 172's are mid 130's to mid 140's area typically so looks healthy by those figures imo
Take it down to ATS just for a check. Then leave quick once you have your answer.

You'll be up against it trying to get a 182 cat to fit. Has been done but its a fair bit longer than the link pipe plus the flange needs to be added and when your cutting you'll be in the 'construction' of the cat.
Far better using a cat from a Vauxhall or a Rover as iirc their quite small on...
2k outlay, 8 minutes of non permanent fun then your done and 55 quid everytime you need it isnt really ''best value mod'' if you think about it...Great for drag racing or if your not fussy about having bhp on tap all the time but i reckon it would be frustrating after a while
