For every handfull of fires bet theres many thousands of others who have never had a problem. ;)
I did mine a few years back, took it off last year as it was breaking up. Zero performance difference.
Bagged it up and burnt it on a bonfire and it didnt act like a wick and it didnt burn very...
The difference is there but very subtle. I thought it pulled better mid and top end in my experience
Worth it if you can get it all done cheap. Very handy for cat messing too
Good few years back this but Dastek was the first and a little known mapper just over the border. Wont go into details but id a been better sticking the cash straight down the bog then at least it would have saved on petrol money :dead:
You wont go wrong with RS Tuning and probably the nearest...
Exactly but the problem is folk make the mistake of looking for peak gains without realising what you gain at one end you rob at the other and if you want a good all rounder then your running pretty mild at peak
Avoid Scotland when it comes to mapping. Only get mapping on a Clio done at a specialist who knows these cars. Iv had my fingers burnt twice by general car mappers.
IMO i wouldnt bother with cams. Its sooo much work and expense for not that much gain unless its stage 1 of a future build. Save...
Yeah its illegal to have a exhaust louder than the factory one. As Fred said grey area tho as how the hell do they really know how loud every car model is out the factory??
I just found the general consistency to be thin, almost like water compared to others. Also it would always knock a light out on the oil gauge and if you parked on any form of gradient you could see at least couple go out. When checked manually levels were fine. More evidence at its thin...
Unless its leaking or a high miler you probably wont need to change the water pump. Seems to be a CS trend. IIRC they very rarely fail.
Its on the auxiliary belt anyway so even if it did go its not part of the ''big one''
You could buy F1's from OZ long before the ph1 172 was on the market.
Another difference between the 2 is the 172 version has the outer lip where as the OZ aftermarket is a solid flat one
IIRC sure a manafacturer still has to produce parts as a minimum of 10 years after the last vehicle rolled out the factory.
Very much doubt Renault are at the stage of stock piled, once their done their done kind of thing.
On your other post, OZ made a general based F1 wheel ;)
I know a lad who sold a set of F1's for £30 back in the day ! - just wish i'd a bought them lol
Probably the reason why their quite popular on other than ph1 models is their Renault / OZ based wheels , quite light and cheapish.
From my experience 2nd hand is a minefield. Their not the...
If the dephasers noisey and your due a belt change then probably worth while getting it done but as Danny says its not a required parts service item.
Water pumps another. Going from on here they dont seem to be a problem so unless your on high miles and its never been done is it worth the...
