My current camera is a Canon Ixus 50 from many years ago. I'm not sure that I do need more (I'm no pro, but I like to play with settings), but the image quality appears to be much better on another newer Ixus that I was playing with and the much larger viewing screen looked great! Some pictures...

I'm looking for a nice little compact camera. I like Canon, I've had one for years, it works fine and I like it, but it's only 5mp so thought I'd look at upgrading. I looked at the Powershot s100 and it looks pretty good for a compact, but do I really need to spend nearly £350 for the manual...

Is it just me or does in now have a black bumper on it at the back? Why would you strip off the old one and refit another one? Everything else has just been broken or removed! How do you know it's your old one?

I disagree with that, changing the front seats for buckets could save you a fair bit of weight. A decent bucket seat weighs around 6-7kg, a standard seat weighs over 20kg iirc. Not practical though - you lose airbags if they're fitted and access to the rear seats.

Surely the cheapest option for going fast is a nitrous oxide kit?

Also as far as I know most harnesses aren't strictly road legal anyway unless they have a red button type release type mechanism.

I imagine most people will have a similar situation to myself when it comes to air bags - drivers side removed in favour of a smaller steering wheel, passenger side still present, but non-functioning. So what happens there? Driver's side not present, not checked. Passenger side present, not...

A bit of tape over the dash? As far as I know the tester is looking for the light to go on and off again when testing items such as air bags.
