Sounds like he's having a laugh. If you try hoovering out the air vents or blowing compressed air through them and see if that helps. You can also get cooler pads to sit underneath the laptop to help it run cooler.

Ive a wireless router plugged into my modem but when i try to connect another PC to it i get the message:
"please wait while Windows tries to connect to "Office" Network"
Then it just says it cannot connect.
Any idea how to get them to connect.
Ive seen and used the new 15" widescreens and was very impressed with them.
You wouldnt fancy lugging around a 17" screen one though but then the vast majority of laptops for home users and used simply as desktop replacements and never move from the desk or couch.
The new Dell widescreen laptops are gorgeous though. I just wouldnt like to be paying for one myself.
But Dell do seem to be doing the best deals at the minute especially if you keep an eye out for the online discounts codes.

What software is there out there that will compress the actual video frames into a smaller size from say a full screen size to something which is half of that?
The reason im asking is that ive got an MP4 player that has a 1.8" screen so i'd like to reduce the frame size right down if possible.

You can try switching channels and setting the channel manually which seems to be working for us in work.

It was somthing related to WOL i think because i just disabled everything not required in the BIOS and its shutting down properly now.
