Done about 10,000 miles and about 8 track days on mine and they're still as fresh as a daisy. Maybe it's pad choice that's killing them for those with problems.
Remove centre cap and grease can sometimes be seen too, if bearing is goosed. Normally as above to check spin and listen and wiggle wheel to check for play. Also check for a buckle as this can sound similar.
Maybe but don't know how it stands with any speedo regs etc. and if the difference in tyre size needed to be declared, rather than just an alloy wheel mod.
New sidewall isn't 10mm smaller though. The middle figure is not mm, it is the aspect ratio i.e. percentage so a 165/65 14 tyre is 65% of 165.
There won't be a great deal of difference in speed but there are tolerances that should be adhered to. The actual speed difference is only about 1mph at...
