i had the "common" strut problem on mine.. Used to get the clunking noise when reversing off my drive which has a very slight curb. Toook back to reno & was fixed.. now sorted.

Was going up the M5 to tewksbury today & there was a massive traffic jam heading south towards bristol & i managed to see a nice 172 cup stuck in it. i am soo glad it had cleared up by the time i was driving home just now!

I have just gone through the insurance renewal procees on my car. Last year they didn't have a 172 'cup' on the system so they assured me it was the same as a 172 'sport' This year i called them up (them being privilege) and cancelled my insurance (as it's a few quid cheaper online & £25 less...

just looking up some, the canon mvx460 seems to be a good 'un, although it's a bit more cash (£323)

i take it some of the camcorders allow you to transfer with usb2 aswell/instead of firewire??
