the FM modulator works through your arial (i think) so get fm quality, whereas the ice link plus works through the cd changer socket on the HU so you get cd quality sound. The ice link also allows you to skip tracks & playlists from the steering controls & cd player. I don't think the fm one...

^^ my discs only got changed as it was very low mileage & the discs had corroded (not worn) don't think they changed the pads though.

i had new rear discs at 12k!! they were very badly corroded, luckily becuase of the mileage & age, i had them under warranty! I get rust build up on the new quite badly now aswell! gotta watch them, don't wanna be replacing them all the time!
