Silver 172 cup, Kebab van, bristol

Saw what looked like a 53 plate, silver 172 cup stopped at a kebab/burger van on the ring road near emersons green, bristol

Parked up with a blue pug 306 behind.

Must be someone on here.. i'm sure, it must be.
Both nice looking cars by the way. I went past with the mrs in her pug & now she wants hers lowered, with big alloys.. and stickers along the bottom of the rear side windows! god damn!

hello mate, that was me, was meeting up with superfastdan, big jts and a few others to go for a drive up to castle combe, i didnt go in the end cos my cat is fuked and ive lost about 20% power, getting one on warrenty which is good, didnt fancy having to pay £XXX for a new one!they've also got me a new steering wheel on warrenty cos my grips are coming off!
hows the cup going?

i had a feeling it'd be you actually. not often you see a silver cup.
Bit of a b**ch about your cat! at least you can get it done under warranty hey.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed about my steering wheel.. but then i'd rather it goes now than after the warranty ends in November! now that would be s*** (and just my luck!)
That was a mate of yours in the pug then??? the mrs liked that.. we drove past in a 306 not quite as nice as that though!! lol it's standard d turbo.
Did you meet the other guys in that layby then???

My cups going well.. took it for a nice drive to the mrs's cousins place near stratford on avon yesterday, so a nice cruise up the motorway & then through some lanes.

i dont no the guy in the pug, meet him tonite, not sure wot engine it has on it but he's turbocharged it. i only found out the cat had gone saturday when i went to longlife to get a system and when it was on the ramp the dude said that my cat was fukd!
ye met the other guys at the layby, superfastdan and his mate went racing past(towards sainsburys) chasing a merc sl500. the merc driver must have been so surprised that there was a clio up his ass!

Shame i wasn't in my motor then.. we only went out in hers as she needed to get some fuel for work tomorrow! otherwise you'd have spotted me too.

Did you manage to get a exhaust from longlife then? your standard one hasn't fallen off has it.. (something else i've got my fingers crossed for not to happen!)

no didnt manage to get the exhaust cos i thought that if i did then went to reno and said that the cat was fuked then theu would say it was because the new exhaust and not replace it under warrenty!
going to get the exhaust either next sat or the one after, depends on when reno get my new cat and steering wheel inand i can have them fitted!
will post a vid when i get it on! will let u no when the next meet is, u can bring ur cup along!

yeah i'd be interested to see the new exhaust, for when i need one.
You going for a stealth kind? or getting something different?

Hopefully i'll be able to get to a meet at some point, but recently been really busy as i'm getting hitched in 2 weeks, so been sorting that out. Plus i've been off work with a bad bloody back for 6 weeks so far.. so it's not good at the moment!...

congrads on the marriage! hope the back gets better soon! prob the sus on the cup, some of the roads around here are a nightmare! dont want to be hobbling up the aisle!
im going to get a slashed cut pipe put in but nothing to big, prob no bigger than 3inch! got a 182 suround to go where the bumper will be cut!
going to have a mid sport cos the guy said a full sport will be to loud! got loads of kids round by where i live, dont want to be annoying the neighbours!

There are at least two in Bristol, including mine! I think it's just that people see a Silver Clio and assume it can't be a RS, they don't stand out as much as some of the (lesser) colours.
