Yeh, early on single handed weapon and restoration work really well, I then spam made iron daggers and got up to Level 100 Blacksmithing quickly so got my daedric armour and weapons for me and my companion, Mercurio. When you get master conjuration spells too you can get some pretty awesome...
I started as High Elf and found it really quite easy after 40+ hours, you should specialise in a magic though if you're that class...I had destruction, restoration and conjuration and then a single handed weapon if I wasn't dual wielding magic.
This has been getting some very average reviews...I'm not going to bother with it. Never finished the main story anyway after 140 hours, think I got my money's worth!
Thin is Ninja Gaiden was hard but doable (although don't think I ever completed it) this is just too hard. I killed the Taurus Demon but then immediately into a new area, no real plot progression, and then died a lot more.
It is challenging yes but maybe I just don't have the time or patience...
Now I am not claiming to be the best gamer in the world, but neither am I the worst and like to think I can complete most games to a decent level without too much fuss even on a hard setting. Dark Souls sounded challenging but rewarding so I picked up a copy.
4 hours in, about a million...
Great interview on Metro online a few days ago with a key developer on this, all about fan feedback and rebuffing any fears and criticisms. Got me more excited about this game, least the stories are in a proper arc.
Yeh the levels where you had to storm the hill (Burger Hill I guess?!) and also the one where the whole ground was scorched from napalm were awesome. The music made it though...should have had "Birds the Word" though too for the choppers :)
Games companies have been talking about this kind of thing for a while, buying a game in the future will just be a basic platform for you to augment with all manner of DLCs, private subscriptions and add-ons.
If all DLC etc was decent I wouldn't mind as much, just most the ones I've bought...
Fair enough, looks like they have another member then! :) I got sooo much play from BC2 and already from BF3 it seems fair enough. Much better VFM compared to COD anyway.
Aren't the future maps free anyway as long as you have the online pass thing? I think you just get them slightly earlier than non Premium members (by a week or something)...
I just can't get excited by it. As Darren said, after a while it becomes a grind and really repetitive. I prefer the likes of Mass Effect which you can complete in 30-40 hours but a much more satisfying game. I need to complete Skyrim though after investing 120+ hours on it.
Saw this being used around my mates house and was really impressed by it so got it myself. For anyone not familiar with it, it basically turns your phone into a remote control for your computer so you can play music from it, Spotify or iTunes or whatever. Really clever.
However, I assumed my PC...
I have just played Noshar Canals on TDM for a week! Got up to Colonel 2, and got a service star for all classes now (I used Recon with a shotgun). Great way to boost your levels and fun too.
Also has anyone else noticed more people have more vehicle upgrades recently? Since you can pay to...
Yes not used recon hardly at all in BF3, seems a lot harder to aim for some reason. Having said that on BC2 it was hard until you levelled up, but without mortar strike I don't see much incentive to bother!
Heard about this a while ago, I LOVE crossover games and think this will be awesome (better than the Tekken X SF version too I bet).
I would really like to see an Xbox style Super Smash Brothers though! The Master Chief vs Mario vs Sonic vs Ryu = epic!!!
I have lost several times on OM starting on C...played a game last night where it was a team of Veterans (all level 20 vets or above, and probably a clan) smashing into my team. Every time I spawned I died within a minute...got a few kills by going to the right and then looking left to the...
Yeh definitely....some maps are too big for Conquest IMO (although still good for Rush)...OM and GB are my current favourites I think, although my k/d ratio is still only around 1.0 still overall, see some people getting ridiculous kills but no points for capturing points, which to me is a bit lame.
