I think the main story is the best so far...really interesting, and some of the cameos are nice too, like the guy on the Citadel who has been stalking Shephard, then actually gives him some slightly useful information. Also like the increased customisation of weapons and stuff, felt too stripped...

I just got mine replaced through insurance. I would recommend getting it done properly...the kits cost as much as £100, are fiddly and if you mess up you need a whole new phone. Annoying I know... If you don't have insurance though might be worth looking into, but it isn't as simple as taking...

Ah I see...in Kies though it says Firmware updates aren't available via wi-fi? Not sure if you saw my other thread I created but I am having real issues getting Kies and my S2 to sync following the update to Kies. It ecognises the device but won't connect...so I am looking at alternatives how to...

Right, I updated Kies last night with the hope that ICS would then be available to download onto my Galaxy S2 on Orange. However after the download, my phone now doesn't sync with Kies...Kieas recognises my phone (as Kies opens when I connect it via USB) but then jst keeps saying "Connecting"...

I only play to complete a game, not really bothered about achievements unless it gives me something extra in the game, e.g. new armour or weapons or something like that. Not even touched the BF3 or MW3 single player games and probably never will.

Ok one question about armour...are "gauntlets" what you wear on your arm, or what? Only I have picked up some gauntlets but no separate section for them in armour, just helmet, chest, arms, legs...? Got to the bit where you rescue the students with Jack...can you not get her as a playable...

Kies is pretty weak though and seems to keep crashing for me...

So far...epic. The combat is awesome, lots of decent fan service and references to previous games, so many codexes with decent (concise) background information, more RPG-ness than ME2, but not as detailed as ME1. Most importantly though the story is brilliant and as compelling as any top notch...

I've had enough of this now really...it is wicked but story isn't as compelling as say Mass Effect 3....and after a while you get to a point and think "can I be bothered to finish this?". ME3 is shorter but feels a lot more dramatic and engrossing IMO - but 2 very different games I suppose.

About 7 hours in now...just done the level where you meet the Turian general / new Primarch. Was playing on normal and finding it too easy, increased it and wow...the bit at the end of the level where you have to clear the base was solid! 2 brutes rushing you and lots of ground troops shooting...

Think it is just like iTunes...go in and it should tell you if there's a newer version available? Although having said that, the few times I've used it not seen anywhere in there about software updates...just media transfer and syncing.

When I go to Software Update in Settings...it takes me into a Samsung account login...is this usual? I would have thought it was just be via Google rather than Samsung?

Not played this since Christmas...really must get involved again soon, I love this game!

I really have very little interest in 3d and think it's scope as a technology is limited compared to say HD which improves just about everything. Eastenders in 3d...what does that offer a viewer? Not sure. Willing to be proved wrong but for me it is a fad and superfluos technology.

Weak on all fronts...

This is disappointing...was kind of expecting an epic finish to this game...maybe a Star Wars type party on Earth with all the people you've saved along the way joining you and saying a few words each, different awards for how many you saved etc...

Thoughts so far: - Engrossing intro, sets up the story quite quickly, you know what you will have to be doing and where the story is going early on - Presentation is epic as is the voice acting and face animation (was getting knocked back by others, I thought it's really good?) - Customisation...
