Hmm yeh I suppose actually. Might make some for Mercurio as I have about 40 dragon scales now saved in my chest.
Random question too - when making new enchanted weapons and armour does anyone else rename the stuff? I have started too so all have the same "class" - bit geeky but ensures you...
Yeh also I wouldn't bother with getting the perk to make dragon armour...daedric armour seems as powerfull / more powerful and doesn't look as stupid. I currently have all daedric and Mercurio is rolling deep in ebony (as the actress said to the bishop! :) )
I have only enoucntered about 5...
Yeh you can just let trolls and giants chase you, Benny Hill style, whilst your companion or conjured entity waste them.
But yes flames and a one handed weapon are a good combo against most enemies in the game I think.
I did the greybeard stuff right near the start and didn't find it too tricky?
All the dragons I have been meeting lately have been elder dragons and whilst still fairly easy to kill take a lot longer and if they hit you with their fire causes a lot of damage.
Exactly, too much loading!
Also Luke (Boosh) I got that master conjuration spell last night, only issue it costs over 500 Magicka to use it and I am 390! Won't be able to use it any time soon!
Not done thieves guild yet actually, no...on my to do list so suppose I will do that next. Just working through some misc quests as I had millions of them to do, some are a total waste of time though, e.g. 25 gold for 15 minutes work. Next time that happens I will slaughter the cheeky buggers!!
Yeh might get the perks then mate, even waiting 48 hours would still be selling stuff at a massive loss, although got to the point where got loads of money and nothing to spend it on really anyway - don't like being ripped off even in virtual worlds! :)
Oska it is all about Daedric bow anyway mate, get involved with one of those!
I am now having an issue whereby no traders have enough money to buy my junk, so gradually having to store it all...might get a few speech perks to help but seems quite a waste of XP, would always rather some more...
I think I may do...think Scutch mentioned this book a while back. Although at the same time, to get that high from level 41 (where I am now) is like missing about 100 hours of gameplay!! Is there a level cap do you know?
Ha not too much, I prefer standing back letting them do the fighting and me throwing in some chaos in safety. Having said that I also have daedric armour and daedric sword so quite handy up close too. I find my destruction spells (up to about level 50 now or more) just aren't that powerful.
Cool cheers mate. Are there new master level spells you can get then for getting to 100? (presumably from completing the quests if so?)
I am 100 smithing and conjuration, working on destruction, resoration, one handed and heavy armour now (slow progress!)
I have just got conjuration up to 100....double Draemora Lords + Mercurio = ridiculously powerfull. The only downside is that now I am trying to level other spells and one handed up, and just not nearly as much fun. Got to be done though I guess.
How do you initiate the master spell quests too...
Right cancelled Bt and moved to Sky...but STILL having the same sort of issue :( However I have gone from strict to moderate - so some progress, kind of!!!!
At the end of my patience with this now, would it be something to do with my phone line itself causing this, maybe need a new filter or...
Yeh know what you mean...I am a high elf so the stormcloaks hate me (yet will let me join them anyway despise insulting elves all the time) and the empire is full of idiots. Might just kill them all!
Get the Clairvoyance spell too and it will guide you to your current quest / destination too, very handy! Can buy it from several places in the game world.
Wow. I am just over 70 hours in now, and still so much to do, have just been doing some misc quests as they were mounting up. Getting a bit boring though knowing I have the best armours and weapons, only thing that can be improved is their enchantements and associated perks. Got the dremora lord...
Wicked! Like the sound of that, would be sweet to be able to conjure a giant or something like that. Although frost atronach is pretty sweet for taking punishment whilst me and Mercurio rain down fire!
Luke - where do you get the Dremora Lord from son?
What does the dragon mask do and how do you get the rack for them (although I only own 2 so far!)?
Also Scutch you mentioned some quests provide more conjuration skills...any ideas of their names so I can search for where they are online please mate, if you get a chance?
+1 for Marcurio. Got him tooled up in enchanted and upgraded Glass Armour and he is very powerfull. His destruction spells are through the roof! I am just doing the Staff of Magus quest, right near the end now - yet there are soooo many missions and side quests still to do it is unreal.
A few...
Yeh maybe, thing is though with 3 of them on me each with a different type of magic, I didn't have a good enough defence or offensive really, so ended up just tearing them apart with my sword but only after lowering the difficulty. Annoying thing was there wasn't even anything good in the fort...
Is it me or is the combat difficulty awfully inconsistent in this game? I have been playing on adept level most the time so far which is challenging in places but still ok, the game is long enough without each battle taking half an hour.
Anyway, I find that things like frost trolls and dragons...
You can still be a Nord and have heavy magic though...apart from the different unique abilities, through levelling you can make the character you want. I started as a high elf but have since trained him in heavy armour and one handed weapons, and mostlye roll with either restoration, conjuration...
