I had a 197 manifold and it didn't look any better than a 182 one, so I would like a proper race manifold, space not a problem I can alter the exhaust tunnel.
Yes seen The Pure one it looks good just don't want the pipes coming up that high, I can see why they have done it, just I would rather tuck them under the car. Mark Fish will look into that.
Doe's anyone know where to get a S1600 exhaust copy, think this would be the best Exhaust manifold For a Clio 172 or would a R3 Clio manifold fit ? May need to alter the Shell's Exhaust tunnel.

Well we have 230 at the moment, with a 172 base engine, high comp pistons cams throttle bodies etc. We are looking upwards of 260-280. was thinking the Magane engine is designed for that sort of power eg crank and maybe the head is more advanced for tuning block is stronger etc
Looking at building a high spec engine, which engine would be best to start with? clio 172/182 or 197 or use a magane 225 turbo engine as a base, this engine would be NA as it's for rallying.

Hi nice thread. I do rallying with a Clio for the past 8yrs and we have gone through 2 heated screans, they work ok for about half a year and then start to go wrong. I have got a water heater fan of ebay, seams good upto now.
