Well, done a few things to the car since I last posted on here. Some of them being new forrest suspension made by Black art Desighn, then the new built engine went in and down to TDF to get remaped, where we found our latest engine biuld is the most powerfull Throttle bodied f4r Clio he has had...
Hi just wondering what size is the port on a standard 172 at it's smallest after the split? had a engine developed from a standard a 140 head and I'm starting to think it may be to small, mine is 24.3mm at the narrowist part.
Looks good, your niose in the engine, there are thrust bearings in next to the crank it sounds like either one has gone missing or worn out some how, has the engine been apart? may have not gone back in. they are made so that there is something for the clutch to lean against when pressed etc.
Well we had mixed weekend, The Norbeck castle hotel was the hosting venue, with scrutaneering inside the confrence hall, very nice. Got through that fine and went of to start the Friday night stages. Well we decided that we had to get through the fifst 4 stages with no mistakes so a little to...

Ps yes mintin was think he had one bad stage that dropped him a min.
Just to let you know, your oil is not getting back to the sump fast enough. We had to open all the oil way's back to the sump and put an extra 1/2ltr of oil in to halt the problem, among aload of other tricks to stop these engine's blowing up in the rigers of rallying.
Full credit to you Andy you have built a good Engine , but it just shows you need the right man to do the tunning bit, I always thought a run up the road with lambda conected was enough to tune it , but I can now see that is not the case.
PS I've driven and it is world apart from where it was a...
Well had a quick spanner check on the car on Saturday morning, apart from resetting the flat shift, which must of lost its memory with being stood for 6 mounths, everything is looking fine for our second event of the year at Croft on Sunday, all I need to do is sort the front bumper and load the...
Well we got to the end and what a journy.
Was that worried about the weather that I dropped the car van and trailer down on Newyears day. There was a covering of 2" of snow all over the track except in the middle where they had gone round with a jcb.
Through the night it melted slightly and then...
Been down to Croft today and the rally tomorow is going to be mega, 2" of snow but hopefully cool bright weather, should be good with big side ways action.
