Grimsby you say? I have a 2004 flame red 172 with 62000 on the clock for sale. Supposed to have a buyer for it tomorrow but if he doesnt want it you can have it for a grand. Currently on SORN with no tax or MOT but should pass
I have a full cruise setup for a 172 for sale if anyone is interested http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?747895-Cruise-Control-Setup-Boot-net-and-Connects2 . it may fit other models but unsure
I will get some pics of it tomorrow if you like. car has been parked up SORN for 3 months so will be a bit dirty but is mint condition as far as I can remember. Also have a Ktec silenced stealth, nearly new cat and full cruise control setup that I maybe selling if interested
as the title says, is this possible? Does the 0.6 make any real difference? I'm looking for some cheap wheels/tyres for my Jag but the choices are fairly limited, 5x120 is a BMW fitment so gives a few more possibilities

I just bought 10 of these in day white, the same 5050 smd chips but 29 of them. very happy with them, they don't even register a cost on my smart electric meter
Personally i wouldnt buy another clio, just saying you could buy a whole working one for not much more than the belt price.
The only cambelt problems i read on here are after people have had them changed or the auxbelt failing.
What idea? Driving it till it breaks? Thats what i am doing. Its 10 years old, i've had it for 4 of them. Had my moneys worth from it so if it explodes...it explodes. If something needs fixing i fix it. But if the engine blows up, so what, because of people on this forum clios 1*2's are now...
benkay i just looked through your threads and found your guide. That is the one google found on cliodci.net, good write up. Couple of questions though, do you need to re-silicone it? And what silicone would i need?
I thought there would be a guide but couldnt find it on here. I did find one on cliodci.net, it maybe the one you wrote? Anyway I've ordered a new resistor now for 3quid so just need to solder it on when it comes.
I found the resistor and removed it. Now i have bridged numbers 1 and 5 connectors and the fans come on full power as expected. Will it be ok to leave it like this for a few days until i get a new resistor? Shouldn't do any harm should it?
