Im no expert either, but, i ran my car for about a year with aftermarket wheels and no spigot rings
after the tyre fitting place left them off. Caused no noticable difference to driving/handling and i only realised when changing my brake discs. I wouldnt run it like that by choice though

Just fitting the crusie control from a 182 to my 172. All was pretty straight forward except i have this clutch switch (see pic). I followed this fitting guide http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?521679-Cruise-control-on-a-RS-172-or-a-dCi-(DIY)&highlight=cruise+guide but cant see...
exactly the mistake i made, far too loud. I ordered the silenced center section after about a month from ktec, roughly £180 i think then sold the unsilenced part on here for £70ish.
Oh and its a lot quieter, nicer sound
maybe ive misunderstood how abs works then. under "heavy" braking (or baking as he put it) the abs kicks in to stop the wheels locking up doesnt it?
Does a 172cup have abs?
i have searched but all i find is people saying "thanks i'll give it a try" but never coming back and saying that it actually worked when they did it.
so anyway, thanks i'll give it a try
yes you may be correct. My advice now, after being pulled and let off with the fine, is DO NOT fit a 3/4 plate! i actually think they look quite chavvy now seeing the ones driving round with them
