IIRC its not illegal to run a decat as long as it passes emmissions.
If it fails emmissions it wont have a MOT thus no MOT at point of a accident outside designated rules, invalid insurance cover.
Iv got a pair of drag alloys in the same size and offset and fronts are totally fine. Rears were fine too no rubbing although never ran it with passengers in the back.
Im meaning the build, quality and design iirc which would probably have been on the same lines as AWT's one off inlet on the 1600 which was posted up on another thread. Dont think you could compare the above link one with the one that is / was going to be built for the Clio.
If it was as...
MPG should not change. Your only removing some slight restriction. Going by past topics the general opinion is any drop seen mpg is usually down to the right foot thanks to the car being a bit more responsive your more inclined to open the taps ;)
Yozza, Ktec seem the most popular exhausts and Maxogen, Ph1 or V6 stock IK boxes for the induction side of things.
Remapping: RS Tuning , Ktec etc or and RS Tuner boxes from Europe iirc are popular on the mapping front.
If your stopped by VOSA you'll probably have 28 days to sort the problem if it fails. Cops arent interested if your running a decat, their more concerned if your whole system is ASBO loud.
MPG shouldnt change.
IIRC theres only be one case reported on here of a dephaser giving up to the point of screwing up the engine and that was basically a pulley collapsing which i dont believe was connected to the dephaser noise thing anyway.
Chances are you'd end up changing the dephaser long before it would...
^^The Street KA driver might be a faggot but he'll always be the faggot in front ;)
End of the day folk might not want to go out and buy a M3 or a similar RWD car offering this ''more fun'' for the cash. They might like their Clio for what it is and just want some more power from it...
The only criticism i have for the Ktec stealth is the middle box is too big (wide) so you have to drop the whole exhaust everytime you want to tighten the handbrake. Could be just the way iv got it with the 182 main tho
Apart from that coming from a Magnex to Prospeed then to Ktec's like a...
I had one out of the Viper kit and sure the 2nd one for the other foglight came direct from Pipercross although i cant see them listed but not sure if they ever were anyway lol. Might be worth dropping them a email.
Lot of folk on here use the trumpet end bits but not sure where's best to buy...
All those service parts you could do yourself easily and save about £150. Depends how bothered you are about the SH.
The actual belt change excluding waterpump works out about £490.
Best way is to compare, get a quote from a specialist including pump and genuine belts then you can see the...
@ wheels, fly, it makes no odds. All depends on the rollers and how their set up. Just see it as a rough guide
My wheel measured figure on 1 set of rollers was way higher than a fly wheel figure result a few months later on another!
