Generalising with these 2 components only makes confusion as per your reply above lol - If you look above your reply he's actually said plenum. :)
Plenum = top.
Inlet = bottom.
Put the inlet on which should fit and your original plenum mate.
Reason why Honda based engines are reliable is they dont run enough torque to break or stress components :rasp:
Jokes aside well engineerd lumps. Know a couple of lads who have had success and failure with Honda tuning.
You get what you pay for. Is it better spending 150 on mapping for zero effect or 350 for something thats going to make a difference?

Thats expensive! Sure the 172's were 16.5k new when first released but saw a price drop start of 2001 to 15k area.
I bought a standard ph1 172 from a dealer for just over 14k at the time. For 300 quid more, which im sure was the officialy RRP difference not 500? i could have got the Exclusive...
No difference in performance what so ever.
