    Im using 100mm (4'') diameter stretchy metal Homebase ducting. Cost £9.99 about 4 years ago. You wont find a stronger CAF for the price as you only need a meter worth and it can be stretched to 4 meter so its very rigid. You will have to adjust the horns to get it to fit tho

    How does the VVT physically work as a component ? Looking at it its just a sort of tube with holes in with a switch on top that sits inbetween the cams :S:o

    Folk spend a grand on Recaros Treds, 1k on replacement wheels and tyres for what? Something doing exaclty the same job as the item it replaced. 4k is a lot of money but you buy a Clio for 2k, spend 4k on a conversion and in the grand sceme of it and the evidence we have on video your getting...

    Its not just the cams, its the other things like the new belts, fitting and mapping and then they have to make a profit on top. Other companys seem to be about 1000 - 1300 area for all this so theres a massive difference and why?. Thats if this £750 figure fitted is right..

    Too much for a 03 unless its got stupidly low miles, FRSH and one owner. Non of the rare colours seem to compand a price premium over the more common colours.

    I remember when majority of cars didnt have ABS. Cars werent labelled as dangerous then. Think what the problem is, under 25's can drive seriously high powered cars compared to 10 - 20 years ago and they just cant handle it and have no driving experience where as in 80's and 90's you used to...

    Never had a problem with the Parada's in this weather. Managed to breeze it out of a snowed ice'd up inclined junction my mate running stock road tyres got stuck on! Once you skid jobs fecked. Best using the gears to slow up not the brakes

    No need what so ever to use new bolts. Bolts only snap if you doo them up above torque limits.

    I used a sanding wheel attachment / electric drill combo to refurb the outer lip on some OZ Superlegs i had to good effect. Suprised these wheels are worth refurbing. Thought the ph2 wheels were pretty much worth nowt and plentiful on the 2nd hand market..

    If the cars a high miler, 100k + then technically and if you wanted to throw major caution to the wind, you could fit a dephaser pulley, water pump, maybe even new lifters and tappets if your really worried about the tapping. For that lot you'd be looking at over 500 quid alone
