Like I said, people who don't know computers will think its great.
I have to use windows every day at work, XP is still MS's best OS (although granted thats not saying much) Vista is there because people need to think they are upgrading.. the smart ones...
Check the writing on the plug .. if it says input voltage of 120-240 (50-60hz)then your good to go, all you will need is a travel plug which you can pick up most places for a few quid.
If the input voltage is only 240-250 or only 60hz you wont be able to use then without an expensive...
OSX is nice, better than windows.. but there is no way I would use a Mac. Its too nicey nicey for me..
I mean.. even the exploits have a fancy GUI lol..
As a long term Linux user (10.5 + years now (thats a whole .5 better lol ;))) I would recommend you try Ubuntu. Its faster, more secure, friendly and you wont have to touch a terminal unless you want to.
And if you do run into any problems there is a massive community of friendly people who...
Administration is easy using the supplied manager software, basically just set up different policies, you can tie it into active directory so that you can manage groups of people differently, even right down to single user accounts.
You can also reserve IP's for different policies aswell...
right click desktop then properties, go to screen saver tab, click power and change power settings as you wish.
Oh and if in future you use linux and have the same problem.
edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf and remove 'options DPMS' from the config file.

sorry you need to ground the earth on the audio cable to the earth of the car, not the earth of the power cable.
Just get a cable and strip the ends then touch an earth on the car and touch the earth of the mic and see if the whine goes away.
