Look at the X31s mate as an alternative? I'm really impressed with them.

I got the X31s from a member on here for £60...they are awesome but I wouldn't have paid the full £100 RRP for them. Anything over the original will be an improvement though. They have given me the edge though, my performances have really picked up using them.

^ Agreed, especially when hosts leave the game, sooo annoying! The lag is bad and all the other issues, yet we still play, so it must be good. Disappointing these issues aren't resolved though, but still happens on the likes of Halo 3 too occassionally.

Ok, I now officially hate riot shields!!! Please can someone explain what the best strategy is for killing them when they are coming straight at you. I kill a few but on some levels they are just SOOO annoying, and when coupled with machine pistols or have picked up an assault rifle or LMG are...

I'm a vanguard and at the moment the charge attack isn't great, as if you don't kill the enemy you are point blank in range and probably miles away from your support. However as it levels up it is becoming pretty formidable.

AA12 with Scavenger Pro on is the best shotgun IMO. The Striker is also well overlooked...it's a great weapon!

I just had that now mate, from a 25-1 in TDM, to then 4 games later losing 9-18. Just don't know the reasons behind it! Although there are some maps I seem to usually do badly on.

Check out "the Ken Burton" shows on Modern Warfare, some of them are absolutely jokes. He isn't very good at the game but his commentaries often verge on the genius!

Some good choices here! For me: General Chaos - old Mega Drive game, in which you have a small squad vs another on a small map, was awesome! Syndicate - apparently a new one is on the way too! :D Micro Machines - a high res old 2d version, preferably the "millitary" iteration

I've got the X31s and works great with HDMI. Just plug the jacks into one of the inputs in the back and works fine (although took me a couple of attempts to figure out which ones to use!) I would highly recommend them, feels weird without them now.

I am still to get a nuke, on TDM it is proving to be pretty challenging. Really annoying me now may have to play some Domination just so I can.

The demo was awful! Really boring and repetitive multiplayer, not that tense, marins are rubbish compared to aliens and predators, aliens look awful and no sense of atmosphere or anything. Hope the full game is better!

EMP is rubbish though, especially for 15 kills. I use predator, harriers and either pave low or chopper depending on the map. People seem to be getting more clued up shooting stuff down though, a couple of weks back no one bothered as they left it for someone else!

I don't use a sniper but I still snipe on Wasteland with my SCAR. You can usually pick off a few people standing behind the graves in the graveyard. People with the thermal seem to do really well too. Biggest tip for sniping in general though is just to stand as far away from your team as...

How do you get your accuracy above 1?!? Obviously can get the odd 2 kills with 1 bullet, but the frequency of that happening is very low!

At the time I played it I thought it was great, but in hindsight there was too much collecting stuff for a FPS for me. Great story, setting and idea though, sadly though I think I prefer MW2 and Halo 3.

I disagree, with stopping power you only less shots to kill someone. If like me you roll with an AR, then if you have a medium to long shot that isn't clean, you are far more likely to get a kill than without it. I found without it in similar circumstances you just wound someone, and give your...
