Holographic gives you slightly more zoom in but I don't like it as the dot covers a larger section so harder to see your target!
The holographic also keeps working when an EMP goes off too, although they are pretty rare, and you can still shoot or switch to a secondary weapon until it passes...
Hardline is rubbish, stopping power or cold blooded are so much better, as they are "always on".
I would only contemplate hardline on maybe a hardcore setup, but even then would probably go with cold blooded.
I can believe it...I've got 21 and can see that the way you can get a really big score is get a secluded area to hide in once your killstreak is ready, then just have a it of luck on your side.
I have predator, harrier strike and pave low. The predator should get you 1 or 2 kills giving you the...
Hmm, don't think it's true otherwise, as I said, you would always have a long kill streak.
In fact this definitely isn't true. Otherwise say I'd just had a streak of 5 then another 15 at the start of the next game I would have 20, but I know from experience that doesn't happen...
^ Well yeah, think about it, if you had killed one person and the game ends, you would start the next game will a streak of one...and that doesn't happen does it? (If I have misunderstood what you mean then I apologise!)
That's not true mate, otherwise you would always start with a killstreak at the beginning of a game, even if it was just a "streak" of one kill. He's just obviously really good!
Just got my best killstreak of 18 earlier, if you actually sitdown and take your time it's not too bad though.
However...I unlocked extended mags for my SCAR, but it doesn't seem to give me any extra bullets, WTF?? Do you get more bullets or is the usual magazine just slightly larger? Seems a...
Out a week today!
A bit off topic but just tried playing Bioshock again...in hindsight I don't actually think it is THAT good. i'm not sure I will bother with the sequel.
On 0.85, but when I started I was playing Domination and dying about 5 times for every kill. Once I realised it was better to kill people than go for all the flags, it's started rising, but the damage was already done!!!
Has got some terrible reviews, and apparently the crown reason Capcom have decided to switch back to mainly Japanese developers...plus the campaign is only 4-5 hours with no multiplayer.
I won't be buying!!!
Seen some of the development, and overall everyone has been surprised just how good this is shaping up to be.
Each of the different factions looks well balanced, exciting, different...and also true to the films. For example, the thermal vision and 3 sited Predator laser.
Yeh clans are where it's at! (kind of...)
What's everyone's tactics on Quarry? It's one map I haven't really found a decent and consistent strategy for...sometimes I do well and sometimes get absolutely killed!
It's more the guys who run round with all the perks to make you run faster and commando pro, with double 1887 shotguns and stabbing you. Seriously, those guns are just so overpowered and over-ranged it's not even funny. Gets really annoying on levels like Skidrow, but seeing people employing the...
I loved coop of this on the original xbox, but they should have updated it a bit, I don't want to play the exact same game but with better graphics.
Having said that, I'm sure I'll still get it...
No I think they said you can change class, it's essentially your decisions and actions that count.
Ultimately if you have played the first one it makes the second a more personal and immersive experience.
Hmm I swear people never properly died, can't you go up to them and resurrect them or something?
For the new one having issues deciding what type I will play through as, they all seem so cool. I guess not the soldier though as that makes it more like a traditional shooter and the other types...
What does everyone think is the better perk?
Cold Blooded PRO
or
Stopping Power PRO
Baring in mind you can get FMJ which seems to offer half of what Stopping Power does (e.g. shooting through panels) and can be used as a weapon attachment - although then can't use the extended mags...
Yeh looks f**king mint, and nothing to do with the films either which is probably a bonus. And no human sub-plots of emotional BS!
How cool does Omega Supreme look, and what's the name of the Decepticon beat, can't remembver it's the one that transforms into a base in the cartoons - f**king...
Yeh after you get out the Citadel, is when it all starts happening. Your in the slow part of the game...
One tip - I would sell ammo types once you start getting a few of the same, otherwise by the end you have MILLIONS! Best to run an efficient ship early on.
I don't think your team mates...
Can't you get it copied onto a memory device then import to your xbox? I reckon you can do the game "properly" in 40 hours if you have done it before, maybe have another crack!
I hope I get to keep my Colossus armour!
Yeh first is amazing, and as it's part of a trilogy the second will be a lot better if you have done the first, as the story will reflect your decisions and you will have some weapon / armour / character rollover.
No but it will help, it's a great game and I think it would add to the experience, so you have an idea of the story. I think you also bring some of your armour / weapons over too.
First game was probably my favourite ever gaming experience, and this looks better in every area.
With this and Bayonetta, we will have 2 possible games of the year and January isn't even over!
the1...you are right! It will ask you to load your last game save from the first game at the start...
The new Duke Nukem Forever?? Forza 4 will be out before this at this rate! I just can't see really apart from maybe better graphics what they could do to trump Forza 3, which is amazing. Having a billion cars won't help things...
